Great spot between Agia Marina and Platanias. Kinda between both towns so super quiet at night. Pool is at back of property and not overlooked. Feels like the countryside. Staff were super helpful and really responsive. We stayed in a split level apartment (ev6) and it was super. Bus stop and fun train stop outside the front entrance. Beach across the road. Beautiful gardens. This place is old fashioned Greek accommodation and so much more chilled and authentic than the new expensive places. Would recommend the split level or full floor apartment.
Only thing missing would be a small oven or air fryer all else perfect. Daughters want to go back !!

Everything!!!!
Hotel:
- cosy room furnished with love, all the small details
- very relaxing atmosphere everywhere
- smart positioning of the airco: cooling the room, and not blowing (at all!!) at sleeping people
- gigantic fantastic balcony with see view
- everything was very very clean, the room and the territory
- daily freshly made different types of eggs, greek salad, pies for breakfast
- plenty of stunning plants and flowers around
- 2 pools
- very friendly and helping personeel
- transfer from the airport: on time, door to door, good atmosphere
- room has fridge, stove top, plates, cutlery - basically everything except oven and microwave
- room is composed of 2 smaller subrooms, separated by sliding door. Very nice when staying with kids
- everything was on time, perfect
Surroundings:
- 5 minutes walk from the beach
- the atmosphere is So relaxing and homey everywhere, that you feel like just wearing the sweeming suit and nothing on top the whole day, also when leaving the hotel
- plenty of restaurants, everywhere very tasty. So many that >5 minutes walk we considered 'far away'
- not a lot of people on the beach, almost noone after 18:00 (when the best time starts)
- beautiful see side, with a small isle on the horison
- bus to Chania every 20 minutes, bus stop next to the hotel
- excursions everywhere: Balos, Elafonisi, Knossos, gorge, etc. Can be booked at the hotel / online (same price). Bus picks you up at 2 min walk from the hotel. Can be booked 1 day in advance even
- little cute train going to waterpark and exploring the surroundings, stop again next to the hotel. There is a brochure at the train stop, describing the routes
- car rental options everywhere
- no big 10+ floor hotels around
We had a perfect holiday, it would be a sin to complain on anything. A couple of things to consider maybe:
- the bathroom in the hotel was small, and the shower in the bathroom as well. Depending on person's weight, this might be a blocker. Maybe it was only our room. But good to recheck the dimensions if this is an important topic.
- some people where "booking" the pool sunbeds (placing towels) since early morning. But generally it was enough space - we could get sunbeds with shadow at both pools whenever we wanted to go there
- if you rent a car and decide to go to Elafonisi, it is safer to go in the morning, and to leave the place after 3. It is a curvy, sometimes narrow serpentine road. And plenty of busses are going there (tours). All the busses are going in the morning, and leaving around 3. We decided to go 14:30 to come by 16:00, and the trip was a bit horrible: meeting multiple busses on a turn of a narrow road seemed very dangerous. The way back in the evening was ok: the road is paved, just serpentine.

Location is perfect, many good restaurants, supermarkets and shops at walking distance.
About 10-20mins drive to get to Chania depending on the traffic, and ideal to explore the west side of Crete while not having to drive back and forth for too long (about 30minutes to 1 hour) depending on where you want to go.
The best beach in Crete (after touring the whole island for 13 days) to my opinion is Falassarna beach which is about 40minutes drive from this hotel.
The commodities in the room were a bit lacking and some of them very old or not well maintained, but the one standing out was the noisy AC (which is a must when staying during the summer).
The shower was very small to my perspective and i'm not a big guy ... it's protected by curtains which get in the way and annoy you all the time.
Still, the biggest let down for me was the isolation of the room, it felt like you were still in the hallway even when it was closed...the entry door might have been good for a bathroom but it was definitely not suitable to be the entry/exit of the room. I could hear people walking in and out of their rooms as if it wasn't closed; same thing when the cleaning staff came by in the morning (i could hear them all the way from the top floor of the building while they were still in the ground floor or lower floors so you can imagine the noise when they were in the rooms next door).
One last annoying thing, when you removed the key fob (to enable electricity in the room), there was no delay; definitely a first for me. Everywhere i went, there always was at the very least a few seconds delay; it wouldn't have been an issue if there was a manual lock inside for the door or if the key and key fob were separate but imagine you're getting home at night, no lights and you need to lock the room from the inside (needless to say but if you don't lock, anyone could open the door from the outside).
A few adjustments to the room would make it easily an 8/10
