Perfect location,the friendly helpful staff, the cosy room with a large balcony and the ample breakfast.
We stayed 3 nights in mid February with temperatures ranging from 7C to 15C.
The bedroom aircon heating was fine but this wasn’t the case in the large bathroom separated by a corridor from the bedroom. Over 3 days the central heating radiator never came on.
The hot water supply was more of a problem.
On arrival we were warned that as we were on the top floor it would take time for hot water to
come through and that we should let the water run for 5 to 10 minutes. Very hit and miss as on 2 separate occasions hot water never appeared !
The basin tap fitting was seriously loose.
The only bin was the toilet bin.
As there is no lift it’s a steep climb to the top floor - not ideal for some.

Gorgeous 17th century house; amazing room made us feel like we had travelled back in time; delicious breakfast; really cool location in the heart of the city; helpful, friendly staff; all the amenities one requires for a great stay

Only the location.
The building and the room was really old. It’s not just “design” it’s really old. The overall look and feel was that the experience was much worse than the photos.
For one night it was ok. But the aircondition was old and very noisy it waking us up every hour! No central heating means very cold bathroom. The jacuzzi was not working.
Breakfast was not bad but it could be better.
