Comfortable hotel in the Alps

Terrific stay in Briancon, very comfortable rooms with great free parking and very friendly & helpful staff. Plus they have a locked bike room for those with a bike. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Hotel in the centre of town and close to restaurants. Safe car park and garage parking for motorcycles. All the staff were very friendly but Sylvan on reception deserves special mention. He has perfect English if you struggle with your french. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

Perfect location, very clean, staff helpful. Motorcycle friendly -free use of garage.

Only downside was cost of breakfast at 16.50 euros per person, so we didn’t take it.

Relaxed stopover at Hotel Vauban Braincon

Owner is a keen motorcyclist and was pleased to provide a secure garage for my motorcycle (with his motos). A more than ample breakfast with varied selection of both hot and cold dishes available. More choices than I could eat. Room was clean spacious and despite being located above a main road was very quiet. Decent beer.

No evening restaurant if I'm being picky but there are plenty available within a 5 minute stroll.

Perfect location, good( free) parking, and clean, comfortable room. Staff were fantastically attentive and welcoming.

Extra fee for breakfast was a bit steep - we bought supplies from the Carrefour around the corner.

Okay for a night

I was offered to place my motorcycle in a closed garage, very 🙂

My room was facing the main street and therefore was very noisy, this together with the heat in the room made my stay unpleasant. Opening the window wasn't an option because of the noise and the smell of passing vehicles of the street. So I slept in a room at 27° with a provided fan. All in all this is way to expensive for what it is.

Good option for cyclists

The hotel staff is very helpful. Bike parking was easy, there's a room for that. Breakfast was French and good, I liked the little crêpe. There's a supermarket 200m away and there's a peaceful walkway up to the Briançon old town - that's 100m higher than the hotel, but for average fit people easy to do. The room was clean and spacious.

I didn't like the scrambled egg, but there was boiled egg as an alternative. The room doors could be better isolated to cancel noise from the corridor.

A great stay if stopping over in Briançon while doing La Route des Grandes Alpes. Very good breakfast selection. Hotel staff gave great recommendations for dinner options.

Getting a bit picky with this - but mattress was too soft for me (caused sore back), but I'm sure most would love a soft bed.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking lot and garage available, great bar - bear and whiskey! Large room with totally new and working bath room! Bed with voluminous pillars. Breakfast gives a lot of choices.

The room was warm and clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is 5 minutes walk (with small children) from the main ski lift.

The WiFi, just like everywhere in the world, is not great.

Great stay close to ski slopes

What an amazing property in Briancon. Close to the ski slopes, and easy access to restaurants. Rooms were large, clean and newly renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and endeavoured to converse with us in English which was greatly appreciated for Australian travellers!

If I was being super picky, the price of the Breakfast at 14 Euro is a bit steep
