Should not be taking holiday makers

Location

Where to begin. This is a hotel/residential where holiday guests are NOT welcome. Residents having extremely x-rated adult fun on balcony mid day fully naked in front of our kids! Screaming and shouting at holiday makers from multiple balconies to “get out their pool and go home”, one even called the police to ask us to leave “their pool” when reception had no idea and then staff said they couldn’t help as they hadn’t called them. Kids terrified of men approaching them constantly and shouting at them, videoing kids etc. Do not understand why this is a hotel as residents clearly do not want holiday makers in the building. A shame as the apartments are ideal for us and good location but just not worth it.

We have been visiting this property for 15 years and keep returning as it is always excellent. Efficient aircon, a washer drier, well-kept pool all with easy reach of Los Boliches shops and bars.

GREAT LOCATION AND IDEAL FACILITIES FOR A ONE WEEK STAY!

The property was in an excellent location - handy for the train from/to the Airport, the seaside and plenty of excellent bars and restaurants. The check out time of 12.00 noon and the availability of luggage storage enabled us to use our last day well. The apartment block was very quiet inside and out during the day and at night. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the shower was modern and efficient and the kitchen area sufficiently equipped to make breakfast and snacks. The small balcony was very pleasant to sit on for breakfast and evening drinks. The pool was quiet with plenty of shady areas.

Nothing - it was fine in every way for a one week stay.

The property was in a great location, close to all amenities, rooms were very clean and beds and towels changed every second day. Cleaning staff were very nice and couldn’t have been more helpful

On our 2nd last day at the pool, a child had went to the toilet in the pool and on the side of the pool. Although these things happen the way it was dealt with was terrible, nobody in the pool was notified to evacuate the pool, my daughter 2 year old ended up with faeces on her swim wear as she had sat in it at the side of the pool. We immediately left the pool area due to this, when coming back to the apartments later in the evening there was still people in the pool which means nobody was evacuated to get the pool cleaned. Didn’t have the use of a pool for the last 2 days of our holiday. It should be a rule that smaller kids should have to wear swim nappies. Also loads of locals congregating around the steps of the pool chatting when trying to get in and out of the pool.

Lovely place for a young family

Our stay at Apartamentos Mediterráneo Real was lovely! It's in a good location with a couple of supermarkets nearby and walking distance to the beach where there are lots of nice restaurant options. It's also a short walk to the train station which is handy. I highly recommend taking the train to Malaga for the day. We stayed in a penthouse apartment which cost a little bit more, but was worth it for us. Our balcony was lovely and spacious (essential when on holiday with a toddler as we spend a good bit of time there). The staff were friendly. The pool area is really nice and it stays open until 10pm – I thought was great to have that option!

I thought it was a bit cheeky that you have to pay €15 for the sauna, so I didn't bother with that. It would be good of the opening hours of the coffee shop downstairs was open every day. The kitchen facilities in the apartment were good. but I think a microwave would be a good addition.

My stay wasn’t that Gud

When I get their is was around 2:30 am the didn’t give me a room to stay they put me and the kids to sleep in the library till the next morning around 10:30 am they now gave me another appointment it wasn’t the appointment that I book And the appointment was full of ants insects everywhere

Not enough sunbeds or parasols people putting towels on sunbeds then coming back hours later nothing was done about this. Some people also putting out multiple towels to keep beds in the sun.

What's not to like

The apartment was lovely and had everything you would need for a comfortable self-catering holiday, including washing machine and dishwasher. Very quiet. Two big supermarkets practically next door. Five minutes to train, beach, shops, and restaurants. Joanna at reception was especially nice, however all staff were. There are plenty of sunbeds despite people putting towels down to reserve them. Rooms cleaned,beds changed, and fresh towels every second day

All the staff were polite and very helpful. The beds were comfortable. Rooms are pretty good.

The sun loungers desperately need replaced. We were at the pool for less than 4 minutes, and I was cut by broken plastic on a bed. TVs need to be updated. Using the term "seaview" is very misleading. This would make holidaymakers expect to be facing the sea. This is not the case. The balcony or windows do not face the sea. I believe the apartment owners are being misleadingly literal. You can see the sea, but only if you stand on the left side of your balcony and look over many other buildings.

Somewhat acceptable but unfortunately I wasn't happy with my choice

Close to the beach ، and supermarket

I did not like the reception area, it’s poor, dark and hot, no air conditioning. There is only 3 old sofas to sit and the cafeteria close early. The pool area not very big but it’s ok The room not that clean and always problem with towels and they put small instead of big for shower My contact lenses were taken or thrown from inside my room during cleaning. I had put them on the table. When I informed them, no one showed any interest in the matter.
