MSK Hotel 82

After a tricky situation on night one (more info below), our new room was spacious, with lovely big windows, a nice view and great AC. Bathroom and closet was solid, and the slightly larger room included a desk area. The really important element of this hotel is its location (close to plenty of shops and restaurants) and proximity to the underground - perfect for our short getaway with a lot of sightseeing to be done. We had a fun stay.

On night one, our third floor room had no working AC, no fan, and a heated towel rack that wouldn’t turn off. Given the heat in London the past few weeks, this was a pretty gnarly first evening. After trying to figure out the situation for a while ourselves, I messaged the property manager and he was very responsive, replying right away and sorting our situation very quickly by moving us to a larger room with working AC on the second floor. No problems thereafter - though the bed was a bit cramped and less than comfortable for my 6ft2 husband.

The place had great transport links , very central. It was clean had everything we needed as well as being air conditioned so overall a very pleasant experience

Quiet area close to city shops and places to eat. AC blew very comfortable cold air and the shower water was nice and hot.

Room was not cleaned well enough before arrival. Mattress was old, worn out, and caused back pain.

Hotel is in a good neighbourhood not very far from the main attraction points. We did have a working AC, but it was quite loud to sleep with it. Our apartment was in the inner side of the block, so we did not have bad experience with noisy streets.

Hotel is definitely not a 4 star, these are the key problems we had: - Hotel did not have proper reception and staff for help 24/7, they have person sitting at the entrance for fixed hours around 11:00 till 18:00, after that, you have to press call button near the desk. - Room has no cleaning, bathroom was poorly cleaned before our arrival, no sheets was changed during day time, no trash was taken care of. - Staff does not help, we had broken Fan which was overheating instantly, I called the staff to change it which they promised to do, but they never did it. - We did not have hot water for 3 nights, our stay was for 4 nights and only the last night we had hot water, not everyone likes to shower in cold water. - Last night we had fire alarm triggered around 0:00 at night, it took maybe 40 minutes for the staff member to arrive and turn it off.
