Nice, but I won't go back because the noise was unbearable

Breakfast was excellent, and the place is decent for the price.

Unfortunately, it was incredibly noisy. I ended up going out until midnight in the rain just to get away from the noise. When I returned, people were still talking loudly—almost shouting, for hours. I was completely exhausted the next day. I went to Bonn, which was wonderful, though I spent most of the day feeling like I just wanted to sleep.

Has the vibe of a hostel while providing hotel quality accomodation, a good compromise.

This hostel has a slightly institutional feel, but was very comfortable. The staff were great, the room was a bit tight but fine for one night. The bathroom was good and I was able to park my bike in the courtyard. The hostel is in the middle of the city, so easy access to food and shops.

Great clean family focused hostel, with good facilties

Good central hostel. Really well set-up for families. We had a double bed and bunk beds in our room, and an en-suite bathroom. It had everything we needed for two nights in Cologne. Buffet breakfast is included in the price, the food was good & had a good range, so my kids enjoyed it.

It's a very family focused hostel, there are lots of kids. This worked really well for us - but might not work for everyone.

The room is very clean. comfortable mattress. I got an extra bed for my 5 month old baby. It was also comfortable. Delicious breakfast. There was also a garage for my car. Everything is good.

Central Location and Delicious breakfast

Location is really good. Only couple minutes to Neumarkt. Breakfast is good, has almost everything. Our room was clean but it was next to Club and it was noisy during weekend. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Bed mattress is not the best but it is decent

It’s a good location, but service level is just ok.

The location is great, close to everything: bars, shopping, sightseeing..

The stuff seemed to be unfriendly and even rude. The room was for three people, however, we booked a private room for two. Our room didn’t look cozy or nice and when I asked to change it and provide the room we had booked, I was told that all other rooms are booked. No excuses, no apologies.

It is actually unbelievable the experience I have had with Hostel Koln. I was charged 500 Euros for one night in a shared room on the 27th of June with my two friends We made the booking on the 12th of June and was charged for it. However I was recharged 246 Euros for this booking again on 23rd June. Once I checked into the property regarding this a person as the desk Said he has no idea about it. Once we checked out there was no news on this too, The very sad part about this is I have been calling every single day and booking.com took my card details further paid the hotel. So if we customers have had a double charge for this booking ( and I shared my bank statement etc) we have no right to ask for our money back? I have done everything to proof that I have been charged twice however the hostel has not released my money for it..not even half the amount. If there was a double booking why did no one at the property mention it? I only noticed it when I saw my bank statement to see this. It's unfortunate booking.com is not a safe place to put your card details anymore and the hostel too is not willing to refund us...for no fault of ours. It's actually cheating someone. It's a pitty to see we come all the way to visit internationally and we are cheated my both booking.com( who we trusted with our details) And The property who has not bothered to even call back or discuss this. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PUTTING YOUR DETAILS WITH BOOKING.COM NIETHER BOOK THIS HOSTEL THAT COULDNT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. KARMA WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS. I HAVE PAID 500 EUROS FOR THE NIGHT IN THIS HOSTEL WHICH IS WORTH 199 EUROS( FOR WHICH I was charged) Thank you and hope you guys don't book this hostel.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Location is ideal and easy to reach.

The only elevator is not optimal since on each floor, there is only one button to call it either up or down. It stops constantly, sometimes was not responding for a long time, and it was faster to just go 6 floors up or down.

that the bed type was not the same as in the photos, we wanted a bed bunk and a double bed as in the pictures but we got 2 bunk beds
