A bit tired
It was a nice hotel, but you could see that in the past it was much better. Now it looks old and shabby, could use a clean up and some new furniture. The staff, on the other hand, was great.

The location is fantastic, but I would prefer to stay a bit further from the center in a nice hotel.
We stayed at the Grunwald for one night, fortunately only one !!! It's the worst hotel I have ever seen. The rooms are tiny, the furniture is absolutely awful and old, there is carpet on the floors. If you are allergic don't go. How can this hotel have 4 stars? Why are the reviews so positive on booking and google? It really doesn't fit with reality. This hotel deserves max. 2 stars and the reviews should be max. 4/10.

Stay at hotel relais grunwald
The food especially dinner was fabulous. Excellent location as well.
When I asked about the air-condition the receptionist did not know how it functions. I remained without an answer. Also there was a girl coughing continuously during breakfast and staff did not bother to even tell her parents to at least cover their daughter's face with a mask. There were vulnerable people there and I could see that they were extremely worried. Also I pointed out to the waiter that the sanitizer before entering breakfast room was not functioning well. Since it was a buffet, it is extremely important to check that these items function well as everybody is you hing the same utensils to choose food. Still nothing was done and the sanitizer is still not working.

Wonderfull place, realy quiet, excellent, friendly and helpfull staff! Comfortable bed, beatifull view from the balcony, motorbike parking in the garage. Who likes to sleep in the dark, can use door blinders on the balcony and so to create realy total darkness.
The special shower head makes showering almost impossible. It was a kind of tear generator more than a shower. Ugly coffee from a coffee machine for breakfast. Besides these 2 negatives, everything was fine, just if should think about coming next time, I would have to bring some normal shower head with me :-) And have a coffe for breakfast in the bar, not in the breakfast room.

Small room and place for the breakfast, every day was somebody waiting for seats, I am not sure if it is 4 star hotel
