I liked the interior in the main areas and the cleanliness. The service was excellent and feedback was responded to positively.

The kettle in my room kept tripping. I fed this back upon checkout and they took action straightaway. There were no sockets near the bedsides to plug your mobile into. I had forgotten that my room reservation included breakfast and they didn't remind me about this at checkin. So I didn't avail myself of those facilities. It would be great to have a bit more green space to walk the dog away from the main road - especially as I was charged extra for bringing her with me (this always bugs me as there's no surcharge for bringing children along).

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The food in the restaurant was of an excellent standard and the beer was pretty good too. The selection of food available for breakfast was very good, with all of the usual offerings for a continental breakfast and, a very nice touch, was the griddle so that you could cook your own bacon just how you like it. The room and bed were everything I needed for my one night stay.

The bathroom felt incredibly cramped & when I sat on the toilet I had to bend to one side because the toilet paper dispenser was right where my shoulder would have been if I had sat straight.

Clean room, nicely decorated, with tea, coffee and a bath. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent.

Next to a driveway to the parking lot and next to the parking lot so up until midnight there was a lot of noise of people walking, laughing and cars leaving and arriving. So, we could not sleep until midnight.
