Quite location in the forest but also very close to the city of Utrecht. Breakfast included. Very friendly woman at breakfast.
The shown picture of the landhouse seems always to be full, so they put you in another building. Which looks not nice. But you can park your car close to it.

Good for bicyclists, bad for people who need modern amenities like electricity or wifi
Gorgeous area. Very beautiful countryside. Good breakfast buffet with a few vegan options as well. Secure bicycle storage inside a shed that opens and closes with keycards.
Rooms are ancient. 3 outlets in a room for 6 people. Ha ha... Showers and sinks go all the way from freezing cold to boiling hot. No kitchen for guests and food is banned in rooms, ok. Wifi is abysmal. I had like 1-2 bars inside the room and couldn't even watch movies on my tablet. Not much of an issue for myself but that place gets cold. Very cold. Insulation hasn't catches up with this ancient building yet.. So you're probably gonna freezd a little.

Beautiful location, popular with the Locals
Location is Gorgeous with a bus stop not too far. Staff was still able to help me, even though they where really busy with two large groups of people. They had a school trip and Wedding right after.
Very busy during good weather. If you plan well in advance, I would call/email to see if there are any events like weddings or other large group gatherings during when you plan to stay.

Room for improvement and not as quiet as hoped
Beautiful surroundings. The hostel rooms are in a converted outbuilding of the manor all on ground floor Breakfast is served in the Manor House and is free - good value for price. Easy to store bicycle inside or outside. Plenty of parking. Good set up for charging and lights Modern bathrooms.
Unhygienic - Lack of soap in toilets - come on this is basic! Not disability friendly - beds are not assigned so if you arrive later and cannot climb stairs this is a problem. Staff did not seem to care. Loud noise from various parties with loud music in the night so if you arrive for a weekend be warned - as someone who chose the location for peace and quiet in country side this is a challenge Lack of communication on the location of the reception and the rooms (that need to walk to and not main building) would be welcomed Poor and slow communication through booking.com

Amazing stay at a very quite and awesome location.
The place is wonderful and in a very quite and nature friendly location. Behind is a park which was very vibrant during the noon. You can just sit there the whole day and enjoy the nature. They provide cycle rental which you can use to go around and its very convenient. The utrecht university is very accessible like 15min cycle ride which was awesome for me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Everything was good, just the bus stop is like 15 min walk so if you have heavy luggage it could be tricky. The dinner closes at 7:30 which for me was a bit too early but the bar was open. Very minor issues nothing major.
