It was a beautiful house and in a great location. Anna greeted us warmly but was very unobtrusive! The room and bathroom felt private and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The place is extremely close to some great food, Metrotown, Central Park and the Expo Line.
There was nothing I didn’t like but if I had one suggestion, it would be to have a small microwave in the room. We had so many leftovers from our meals that it would’ve been nice to heat them up.

We had the pleasure of staying in a private home that offers a few rooms for travelers, and it was truly a memorable experience. The house itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease—not just in terms of comfort, but in the genuine sense of hospitality.
The owner was incredibly warm, kind, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed.
The location is ideal—nestled in a quiet neighborhood that offers peace and relaxation, yet close enough to amenities like malls, grocery stores, restaurants, and public transit (train and bus stations) to enjoy a pleasant 7–10 minute walk. It’s the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience.
The home also offers shared access to a kitchen and laundry area, which is a great feature for longer stays. Although we didn’t get the chance to use them as we were often out and about, it’s nice to know those amenities are available.
We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, and well-located stay with a host who truly cares about their guests.
