A nice place with great proximity to food, transit and activities - far enough away from the big city but a short hop vi

It was a beautiful house and in a great location. Anna greeted us warmly but was very unobtrusive! The room and bathroom felt private and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The place is extremely close to some great food, Metrotown, Central Park and the Expo Line.

There was nothing I didn’t like but if I had one suggestion, it would be to have a small microwave in the room. We had so many leftovers from our meals that it would’ve been nice to heat them up.

We had the pleasure of staying in a private home that offers a few rooms for travelers, and it was truly a memorable experience. The house itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease—not just in terms of comfort, but in the genuine sense of hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm, kind, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The location is ideal—nestled in a quiet neighborhood that offers peace and relaxation, yet close enough to amenities like malls, grocery stores, restaurants, and public transit (train and bus stations) to enjoy a pleasant 7–10 minute walk. It’s the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The home also offers shared access to a kitchen and laundry area, which is a great feature for longer stays. Although we didn’t get the chance to use them as we were often out and about, it’s nice to know those amenities are available. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, and well-located stay with a host who truly cares about their guests.

An excellent place to stay at heart of Burnaby when you visit Vancouver

Great location! 15min walking distance from central bby. Multiple shopping malls not far from the house and loads of restaurants nearby where you can find all sorts of cuisines - Sushi, Pizza, Chinese, milk tea etc. The host was also very supportive during my stay here - I arrived late due to transportation reason, Anna waited and helped me to check in even at midnight time. I would highly recommend sole traveler or couples to stay at this place and you will definitely have a pleasant travel experience.

Comfortable stay

Lovely comfortable room and bed in a great house. Made use of the kitchen and washing/drying facilities for our 10 day leisure stay with no major complaints. Good communication with host and a lovely quiet neighborhood within walking distance of metrotown.

Worth noting that the kitchen is a separate building in the back yard. Only thing lacking was a hand tower/paper towels in the kitchen.

You get the privacy of a room and private washroom with fully equipped kitchen. The owner leaves at the property but is very mindful about the privacy and being available for anything you need. When i will be coming back this is my best option to opt without having a second thought.
