The view from our house was outstanding, jungle and the waterfall. The house had everything we needed for our group. the kitchen has basic equipment, but we managed to prepare a simple dinner. We had the waterfall to ourselves. We also used the yoga deck in the morning, which was nice.

The bed linens had a really terrible smell of mold and humidity as did the entire bedroom which made sleeping very uncomfortable. That was a real shame, as the bedrooms are quite nice. The breakfast was just a tiny bit of very basic gallo pinto, overcooked eggs and a slice of toasted white bread. Not great.

Gorgeous waterfall and hiking trails exceeded expectations. Delicious breakfast of rice and beans, eggs, fruit and coffee. Beautiful but rustic.

Not a place for kids or anyone with physical limitations. Accommodations much more basic than expected. Had to walk 20 meters outside to bathroom and a different direction to showers - bring a flashlight and good walking shoes! One fan for large family bungalow made for a very warm night. Dinner is $15 per person for rice and lentils, no menu to choose from, not allowed to bring outside food or use the kitchen. Without 4x4 vehicle must walk 100 meters up extremely steep dirt road while carrying luggage. Required to take shoes off in buildings but beware of lots of biting ants. Wish all this had been spelled out more clearly online so we could have been better prepared. Lovely place if you have the right expectations and don’t have physical limitations.
