Domi Cabin

The apartment was much nicer and spacious then on the photos. It is a fully equipped apartment, with two bedrooms, bathroom, two balconies and kitchen with everything you need. It is on top of some shops in the main street just entering the town, so very convenient to walk everywhere. It was low season when we arrived so the town felt quite empty and calm, but for us this was great since we came to surf. Many places to eat around and a supermarket 10 min walk from the house. Main surf beach also 10 min walk and with a car we drove 10 minutes to Dominicalcito for an amazing beach with more local vibes and smaller waves. Highly recommend visiting Dominicalcito as well.

One of the bedrooms didn't have airco. Luckily the living room had one, so we slept with the door open to let the cool air into the bedroom without airco.

Spacious and very clean. Located at the very centre of Dominical. Easy access to everything. Big supermarket 6 min away walking. Beach was walking distance as well.

Cookware is limited. The pan had no handle and there was no strainer. I contacted the owner and got both within the hour. Might be a little noisy at night, especially during WE, as there is many bars nearby.

The apartment is called "small" but it really isn't. Its a spacious two bedroom with a well stocked kitchen. There is a nice deck on both the back and front so you can relax on the back hammock in the afternoon and people watch on the front sofa in the morning and evening. Estaban is a great landlord, very accommodating and helpful.

The location is right in the heart of Dominical so it can be loud at night with some bars and lots of people. If you like to people watch, being near bars and restaurants it might be perfect for you. I am a writer and prefer quieter nights.
