We drove from Athens and were pleased to be able to park the car outside the property. It's a narrow road and parked cars made it difficult to squeeze through but we managed to reverse in and make it easier to drive out. Entry was by using a digital security code to release an automatic electronic lock. There are electric metal shutters for all the windows and manual shutters for the bedroom. They block out all sunlight and are very secure. The apartment is absolutely spotless, with lots of nice touches and good quality fitiings and furnishings. The beds were very comfortable. Large TV gives you access to log-in to NetfFlix and many more Apps. Washing machine was great to use before moving on to the next destination. Location was great - We walked to the harbour (20 mins) and the opposite way into the Old Town (15 mins). Kalamata town is small but has interesting historical places to visit and lots of Bistros - small and traditional as well as large and modern. We were there for the Independence Day Parade and celebrations. Hosts gave detailed information and left some convenience items to welcome us. They were very responsive and replied to messages very quickly. We would return and recommended this apartment to family and friends.
