Riad azra Marrakech

Our stay at Riad Azra was absolutely perfect. The riad is extremely clean, very well maintained, and has a wonderful atmosphere that made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. But the real highlight was, without a doubt, the hospitality and availability of the host Hakkim. Always attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind, he made the experience even more special. A wonderful person who truly cares about his guests and made our trip unforgettable. We would highly recommend it and would happily return again!

The location was perfect, in a quiet alley in the Medina relatively close to the large square.

Google Maps pulled up the wrong location within the Medina, causing us to do a lot of extra walking in the crowded Medina with our suitcases. The exterior door locks, requiring a full time attendant-this caused a mild panic when the attendant was away when we were trying to leave for an early morning tour.

The riad is perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, surrounded by all its vibrant energy. Yet, the moment you step inside, you are welcomed by a peaceful and serene atmosphere. We were warmly greeted with traditional mint tea and biscuits, and the hosts kindly introduced us to the main tourist attractions in the area. Breakfast was a delightful Moroccan experience, served on the terrace, which made it even more special. The room was well-equipped and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality—we truly enjoyed our time here!

It was a bit challenging to find the location at first, as it is tucked away on a small, hidden street. Fortunately, a local kindly helped us reach it. However, we understand that this is part of the Medina’s unique and mysterious charm.

The bed was a bit hard and the air conditioning made weird noises during the night so it was a bit hard to sleep.
