good hotel for stay if you arrived in the late hour for crossing Java Island to Bali Island.

Proper COVID-19 protocol implementation. All the staffs should be always wear at least cloth masks (can be reused and not cost the hotel much) during this pandemic time, it's a protocol from Government of Indonesia and World Health Organization, hence it must applied in any of hotels/inn/stays whatever the stars rating.

Good free breakfast, clean rooms and friendly people.

This isn't really a hotel, it is laid out more like a motel (a series of rooms with some open space in between) or some backpackers. The layout is nice otherwise. The room is reasonable size and the outdoors area is very nice with mango trees and there is a very nice common area to sit. Rooms come with a nice veranda to sit. The staff are friendly they offered us coffee and transport (although we weren't sure if they are genuine on that though, which I will elaborate on the next section).

The place is more like half-finished project, the bathroom is traditional squatting toilet with no toilet paper, so you have to wash yourself which becomes messy with water and even your byproducts splashed around. There isn't any sink in this place which was a surprise for us. We didn't try to complain too much but wasn't impressed at all with the lack of some basics. However, I had to go back and ask for a towel and bedsheet which they gave only one of each, so we had to sleep with only one sheet! The bed/mattress wasnt bad otherwise. Another negative point which isn't specifically for this place but rather the whole Gilimanuk is how hard is to walk around. We got off the bus which stops at the end of the town opposite to the port. It is about 1.5 km from there back to this hotel, and it was a nightmare to walk at some parts. You have to step back and forth between dog feces, broken concrete, stuff from shops laid out (not to mention constant hassling to buy things), parked motorbikes or simply piles of trash, which becomes an ordeal if you have luggage. Luckily we had backpacks only but still got worn out wet with sweat when we got there. For return they offered us motorbike transport, I looked at them and asked do you think two people with a backpack each could fit on the track of a motorbike? we might as well walk, and they quickly agreed and said "ok bye bye". We noticed they had a car parked there, not sure why they don't offer a ride on car. Calling a taxi also isn't easy in this town, we tried it didn't work. We realize this is a family business and didn't really want to place a negative review, but man, if you want to succeed in hospitality business you have to cater for basic human needs, if you don't know what are those basics please go and visit other successful backpackers/hotels, you are almost there, just a bit of final touches could make this place a great experience.

Hot, all night traffic noise, poor sleeping environment, substandard considering the Rp200,000 charge. Perhaps it was the hot sleeping night that contributed to my forgetfulness in leaving my Apple Air Pods in my hotel room, Panas, kebisingan lalu lintas sepanjang malam, lingkungan tidur yang buruk, di bawah standar mengingat biaya Rp200.000. Mungkin itu adalah malam tidur yang panas yang berkontribusi pada kelupaan saya dalam meninggalkan Apple Air Pods saya di kamar hotel saya,

De mensen zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Ook voor deze prijs mag je net iets meer verwachten aan comfort, een lampje naast het bed bijvoorbeeld. En koffie en twee stuks toast is wel een erg karig ontbijt.

Le site est agréable et bien entretenu. La chambre simple mais propre. Le prix est raisonnable. Le personnel est à l'écoute.

La proximité avec la route. Beaucoup de bruits. La propreté de la salle de bain plutôt limite et le lavabo dans la chambre. L'arrivée d'un groupe de personnes dans la nuit sans gêne et très bruyants.
