Turtleshaven

Xolile, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. Secure location and parking. Large spacious apartment with braai facilities and a shared pool. Right across from supermarket and next to bar/restaurant. Very suitable for large groups/families as there were 2 bathrooms and 2 fridges.

The beds were unfortunately extremely uncomfortable for us, I personally found the floor tiles softer as that is where I found myself sleeping, but thats just my and my family personal opinion. The bunk bed in my opinion was not safe as the screws were loose and had to tighten with my fingers in order for my child to sleep in the lower bed. The apartment can benefit from AC as it was really warm and the fans in the room did nothing. The ad says private pool however it is shared between resident, I might have misunderstood. Some basics in the house would have helped ie, bar of soap for washing hands, and maybe a small amount of toiletries, shampoo etc. Maybe basics in kitchen like salt/pepper would have been nice as we had to buy them just for 2 days and then dispose of.

There was a lady who handed me the keys. She was in contact with me before to make sure she would be there when we arrived. It was very nice she was there to receive us and explain things of the house (and the surroundings) to us

The smoking weed by the neighbours. That awful smell penetrated our apartment. But this was not the fault of the owners of Turtles Haven. Just another tourist not keeping in mind their neighbours.

The location was perfect and check was easy, we managed to arrange early check-in

Parking, doesn't fit two suv and we were parked in when the neighbors arrived. Wifi,we were allocated 100mb per day and my husband had to work while we were there. We had to make alternative arrangements because we were told not to use the Wifi Cleaning service, we were expected to be out of the house when the cleaner came which was not always possible Toilet Tissues, we did not have any tissue until we ran out of what we came with and we were told that we are supposed to buy when we run out
