About this house rental
Canal front house in 4 wheel drive Carova Beach area with large covered deck on the first floor to relax and get together. There are built in benches, a bar area, tables, adirondack chairs, and outdoor grills.
The first floor is a large game room with ceiling fans, foosball table, ping pong table, pool table, and a half bathroom. There is a separate refrigerator on first floor for guests' convenience. There is a queen sleeper sofa to relax, as well a large television.
Second floor with 4 bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom. Two of them have king size beds and queen sleeper sofas. These two rooms have sliding doors open to the covered porch with adirondack chairs. Third bedroom has a king and a queen beds. The fourth bedroom has 2 full/double beds. These two rooms share a balcony with a bistro style table and chairs, perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning.
Third floor with open floor plan with the kitchen open to dining and living area. An additional bedroom/ entertainment room has a queen bed, lazy boy love seat and tv.
Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances.
The third floor has a beautiful screened in porch with separate dining area and a conversation sitting area to relax and enjoy the amazing view.
We also have two kayaks and you can launch them from the private deck. You can also fish and do crabbing from the canal. Please bring your own fishing rod.
This area is a mustang sanctuary, where wild mustangs roam free.
This property is in 4 wheel drive area. You have to drive on the beach for about 9 miles after the paved road ends and cross over one of the dune accesses. The roads are sand. So, four wheel drive vehicles are required.
New Carova Beach regulation:
Parking permit is required if you are planning to park vehicle on the beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We provide two permits each week. Additional permit can be purchased from Corolla visitor center for $50/week.

Our first time on the 4x4 side of the beach was wonderful. The house is beautiful. The amenities were great! Alan, the property owner, and Kevin, the property manager, were fantastic and super helpful. They got us through hurricane Erin unscathed

Alan and Kevin both go above and beyond to make sure your stay with them is a great time. Kevin goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and that everything is working properly and clean for the entire length of your stay. We had one small problem during our stay this time but not in any of our past experiences with these gentlemen but once I contacted Kevin he got it taken care of right away. Thanks again gentlemen it was fantastic we look forward to booking with you again soon.

If you're looking to experience the OBX, this is the perfect place for that! Alan's place is well situated; secluded but easy to reach and have all the commodity for all your needs. We were a group of three family (14 people) and there were enough space for everybody. The nearby kayak ride into the marsh and the beach (and beach ride) were extraordinary! The play room with the pool table, ping-pong table and babyfoot game was really apreciated and a great way to keep the children occupied after we came back from the beach. The beach itself was very fun and not far (about three minutes car ride). Overall I rate Alan's place as a five stars vacation destination.

This house is spacious, clean, and has everything you need. The hosts Alan and Boon were incredibly sweet and made sure everything was ready. The house has 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and plenty of beds. The upstairs is very large - with a big kitchen, big living room and large dining table. This is the perfect house for a large family or a few families. The basement game room was a blast, the dock is perfect for fishing off off and they even provided kayaks. Highly recommend!
