First of all, Alice is a wonderful host, very friendly, spontaneous and truly making her optional "delicious" breakfast. Sleeping on a boat is different than "normal" which was a nice experience. The location is close to downtown and easy parking nearby. The cabin is small, but functional. The bed was good (not too soft nor too hard) There are multiple drinks and snacks on board for very reasonable prices (good for the late evening)
ONLY because of the hot weather the whole ship heats up and there is no air conditioning. At night we opened the rooftop window and used the fan to cool down a bit. Take any moderate temperature in a season and it would not take away some of the pleasure.

Cozy place a few steps from the city center and ca.2km from the train station that has enough connections to Amsterdam or other cities. There is enough free public parking around however it is often full so you may need to park 2-3 streets away. At the hotel there is complimentary coffee which I found really nice and one day we even got a free apple pie 🙂. In general I would recommend staying at this place and will stay there again if I ever go to Amersfoort again.
Breakfast was for me a little expensive so we ended up not taking however it is always prepared just for you if you take it so I think it's fair enough 🙂
