14Acres Estate Guest House · Pool + Hot Tub

Top rated by guests
This is the full picture: saltwater pool, 6-person hot tub, outdoor kitchen, fire table, and pergola dining — all yours for the week. This is what Sonoma wine country evenings were made for.
Vaulted ceilings and natural light from every angle — this is where your group ends up after dinner, with local wine and nowhere to be in the morning. We designed it for exactly that.
Open plan so everyone's together — the cook isn't isolated in the kitchen while everyone else is in the living room. The layout was designed around that. Works exactly as intended.
The chandelier over the dining table is a nice touch for dinners that run late — and around here, most of them do. Plenty of counter and prep space for whoever ends up in charge of cooking.
New appliances throughout, peninsula seating, and good light from the window. The kitchen really works — not just staged. We use it ourselves and stocked it accordingly.

About this house rental

🍇 Imagine this: golden hour in Sonoma wine country, the solar-heated saltwater pool glowing, six seats open in the hot tub, a glass of Gundlach Bundschu in hand — and not another soul for 14 private acres in any direction. That's a typical Thursday evening here. This 1,400 sq ft guest house was built for the kind of Sonoma trip your group will be talking about for years.

Welcome to Lovall Glen by KEVALA TERRA — a pastoral wine country estate just an hour from San Francisco, offering expansive private grounds, beautifully appointed living spaces, and the kind of seclusion that's increasingly rare this close to the Plaza.

🌳 GROUNDS & OUTDOOR LIVING

A gated entry opens to 14 acres of rolling lawns, gardens, and ancient live oak and olive trees. This is where the trip actually happens.

Solar-heated saltwater pool (June–September). Propane gas heating available year-round for $500, prepaid at least 2 weeks in advance — so the pool is open even in spring and fall shoulder months.
Six-seat hot tub under a canopy of ancient oaks — the place where most evenings end
Fully equipped outdoor kitchen with gas grill, prep surface, and barbecue utensils — everything you need to cook and eat outside every night of your stay
Gas fire table and patio lounge with outdoor sofas and patio gas heater for cooler evenings
Shaded pergola with a large dining table — a proper outdoor dining room for the whole group
Heated outdoor shower
Multiple wood decks at different levels for sunbathing, morning coffee, and evening wine
Hammock tucked between the oaks
Outdoor ping pong table

You will spend most of your time outside. Plan accordingly.
🏡 THE GUEST HOUSE (Approx. 1,400 sq. ft.)
Three bedrooms, three bathrooms — sleeps up to 7 adults. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms; the third shares the hallway bath. Three full bathrooms means no early-morning scheduling conflicts.

Large open-plan living area with fully stocked kitchen — Thermador stainless steel stove, dishwasher, wine glasses, prep island, all of it
Vaulted ceilings, natural light from every angle, contemporary design with wine-country warmth
Independent heat and air-conditioning in every room — you control your own temperature
Two exterior wooden decks with scenic views
42-inch HDTV with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and satellite cable
In-unit washer and dryer
Room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets
1-minute walk from the main house, pool, and outdoor kitchen

The guest house is fully standalone on the estate grounds. We never rent to more than one group at a time — pool, grounds, outdoor kitchen, and all shared spaces are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.
💼 DIGITAL NOMAD FRIENDLY
A detached, glass-enclosed private office sits apart from the guest house — two full workstations, chandelier overhead, 360° floor-to-ceiling glass views, and enough quiet separation for video calls and deep focus work. One of the very few Sonoma wine country properties where you can genuinely work well and walk out to a heated saltwater pool at 5pm. High-speed WiFi throughout the entire property. Level 2 EV charger on-site.
🌆 LOCATION
Eastern Sonoma foothills — 3.5 miles from Sonoma Plaza and its historic sites, award-winning restaurants, boutiques, and Friday farmers market. Gundlach Bundschu (California's oldest family-owned winery) and Buena Vista Winery are a 10-minute scenic drive. Glen Ellen, Kenwood, and Napa are all within 15 miles. San Francisco is one hour. Abundant hiking and biking for all levels.
This property works for: milestone birthdays and family reunions, bachelorette and friends' getaways, corporate offsites and work retreats, and couples or groups who want genuine wine country privacy rather than a busy hotel.

📋 GOOD TO KNOW

Standard Amenity Availability Disclaimer:

While we take great care to maintain all onsite amenities to a high standard, peripheral amenities—including pool heating, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and BBQ—may occasionally experience maintenance or operational issues, sometimes due to prior guest use. Should an issue arise, we will communicate transparently and work to resolve it as quickly as possible. However, due to short turnaround windows between stays, repairs may not always be completed prior to your arrival.
In the uncommon event that an advertised amenity is unavailable during your stay, a courtesy credit of up to $80 per day per affected amenity may be offered. To help us resolve any issue as quickly as possible, we kindly ask that guests provide real-time evidence (such as photos or a short video) when reporting the concern. Mike & Jefferson have created an oasis in Sonoma. So close to everything, but far enough away to feel like an escape. The grounds are beautiful and the houses are so comfortable. We stayed in the guest house and had a great time relaxing in the pool area. We can’t wait to come back - hopefully, we will avoid the rain and get to use all that their place offers.

Beautiful property with great amenities - this place is a hidden gem in Sonoma! We stayed in the guest house which was cozy with comfortable beds and everything you need for meals (although there are nice restaurants in the area). Loved the roses in the garden and flowers along walking paths! Hosts are easy to communicate with and are very helpful. The property manager is available for questions and assistance. The pool and hot tub were amazing! Despite the rain, the place was the perfect getaway in Sonoma. We had a wonderful time and would love to return in the future!
