Wischis Florida Home - Dolphin Bay

Lovely stay in Dolphin Bay. Attentive agents when we had a small problem they sorted it out quickly. House was clean. Pool was lovely. Not a massive space around the pool for sunbathing but having the decked area by the lake and boat deck was amazing. Good shaded areas. Well stocked kitchen. The oven baffled us a little so ate out most of the time. Longhorns Cape Coral far better than the fort myers one where we had a substandard meal and poor service. One of the showers didn’t work well but it didn’t spoil the stay and we reported it but said we were okay with it. Great washing machine. Comfy beds. Sandra at the agents at Wiscon very helpful indeed. There were burrowing owls and their babies on the neighbours lawns which have been amazing to watch. Only downside if you get a noisy occupant across the lake sound travels. On the whole three weeks of lovely respectful quiet people enjoying their pools etc and a few days of noisy loud music belting out morning till night. Good choice of supermarkets. We loved Publix and Walmart. Fave places to visit Vanderbilt beach and Sanibel and of course the malls. Thank you Florida we will be back hopefully.

Quiet neighborhood with many, many burrowing owl marked nests on the block! Loved our stay...even during the clean up of Hurricane Ian.

Awesome layout of home , greatly positioned patio including Lanai pool. Home is very well stocked with kitchen Equiptment and nice furniture. Would definitely vacation there again !

Upon arrival, there was a live 2 inch cockroach right inside the front door and we had mouse droppings on the stovetop. I had requested, and agreed to pay $25 for a pack n’ play for my infant to sleep in. We arrived at about 10pm and there was no pack n’ play. The morning after arrival I got a call from the property manager to collect the remainder of my payment. I explained about the bug/rodent issue and she told me that they spray and that they could bring out a pack n’ play. I had already went and purchased one (that I donated before we flew home) she told me that they could “work something out” with my security deposit to reimburse me for the $85 pack n’ play that I bought. It takes 14 business days to get the deposit back, so we will see how that goes. The crappy first 24 hours set our family vacation off to a rough start. I tried multiple times to communicate with the property manager at the end of our stay and didn’t get a reply. Overall, we enjoyed the home, but the management and communication was poor.
