About this house rental

Close to the city center of "Old Bergerac" and near the theater and the church, the cottage at Cyrano is located in front of a small shady square.
House adjoining another house.
Ground floor: Living room with kitchenette, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher. Lounge, internet connection and television. Toilet.
Floor: 2 bedrooms: 2 beds 90 L, 1 bed 140 L. A bathroom. Electric heating . Closed ground.

Easily walkable to the old town. Has comfy beds upstairs. Actually has a pretty garden area in back.A drawback is the toilet is downstairs.

This was a typical house with steep stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. Toilet was downstairs. The house is well situated, a short walk to the centre of Bergerac, the boulangerie and supermarket. We had a few problems with the boiler cutting out, even in the middle of a shower. Contact with owner was not easy but she did send a plumber round, by then we had fixed it ourselves. A big problem for us was a hole in the living room ceiling, approx 6ft x 3ft. This exposed the floorboards and joists in the upstairs front bedroom. We were not informed of this by the owner before our departure from the UK. And the owner did not inform us of the reason for this on arrival, we did not have much choice as we were already there! We put up with it. what are your thoughts on this. Look forward to hearing frrom you.

We enjoyed our stay at the house in Bergerac. The owner was friendly and met us at the agreed time at the house. We understand that not everyone supplies towels but it would have been nice to know that there were no towels before we travelled. Overall we had a lovely stay and wish the owners all the best.
