Palm Oasis

Great location, a few minutes from the beach. A good size for a big group with 5 bedrooms and a huge kitchen, dining, lounge area. Great water pressure in the showers. Nice yard with good deck area (though lacking some privacy).

The house is looking a bit worn - such as the floorboards in the dining area, peeling paint and broken blinds on some windows. Walls are thin, noise carried throughout the house.

the property was let down by maintenance and cleaning. stunning property over shadowed by broken blinds and general lack of cleaning. broken glass on the kitchen floor pots and pan filthy lots of mould on blinds lots of light globes out . property needs a good spring clean of all amenities not just bathrooms

The property was large enough for a larger group of people to really enjoy their stay

Using the television, foxtel and other electronic items provided was very confusing so we gave up trying.

Lovely property from first impressions, in a great location. However, do not book this property if you are a large family. We were a group of 12 women and when the toilets and showers began to be used the entire house had an intolerable disgusting smell. This house has serious sewerage problem. The smell came from the drains and wafted throughout the entire house. At first we thought it was a dead decaying rodent. But when the smell left in the late of the night and then returned in the morning just as soon as toilets and showers began to be used, we knew what the problem was. The smell was so disgusting that in the evening we all had to sit outside during to escape the odor. The holiday rental company was contacted and sent someone out to investigate our complaint. She acknowledged that there indeed was a disgusting smell and said that she would speak to someone about it. Absolutely Nothing was done. It was basically dismissed and not followed up at all. And then we received two noise complaints that we were having a party. Our group was sitting outside to escape the disgusting smell Neighbors were staring at us through their blinds. No privacy. Should not be advertised for 12 people unless you all want to sit together and whisper. The House has loud acoustics, so any noise travels. It was terrible. A health hazard.

A health hazard. Literally. Disgusting Sewerage smell. Unbearable.
