Hostelskippy

Our stay at Hostel Skippy was absolutely wonderful! The highlight of our experience was the hostess. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Her hospitality was exceptional, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. She gave us excellent recommendations and practical advice about getting around. We were planning to take an early train and thought the train station was much closer than it actually was. Thankfully, she explained the real distance and suggested different transportation options, including taking a bus to save money or a taxi for greater convenience. Her advice was extremely valuable, and we truly appreciated the time and effort she took to help us. The accommodation itself was lovely, cozy, and full of charm, with a beautiful wooden cabin atmosphere. The location was also very convenient. Although it might seem slightly outside the very center, Český Krumlov is a small town, and everything is within easy walking distance. Everything was excellent, but what made this stay truly special was the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care of our wonderful hostess. She deserves special recognition!

The only small detail that could be improved was the shower. The bathtub had a handheld shower, but there was no shower curtain, glass door, or any type of splash protection. This made showering a little uncomfortable because standing up would cause water to splash all over the bathroom. We had to shower while sitting or bending down to avoid getting everything wet. It was not a major inconvenience, but adding a simple shower curtain or some type of splash guard would make the bathroom much more practical and comfortable for guests. Apart from this minor detail, everything was absolutely wonderful!

AMAZING!!! right on the water with the most friendly lady running it, highly highly recommend

There’s not much but if I was really nit picking it can take about 15 minutes to walk into town, but a lovely walk nonetheless

This is one of the most welcoming and cozy places I've ever stayed. Skippy is an incredible host who will do everything to make you welcome and get you ready for this very special town.

Nothing honestly.

Amazing location, and very nice host. Romantic room with river view.

Bathroom, well the bathtub was full of hairs . The beds were very hard not comfortable at all. Though the place and location, the balcony was very nice.
