ocean sounds retreat

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. The kids enjoyed riding the bikes all over the island. I thought staying on the bay instead of the beach would be a problem but it wasn’t. We rented a cart and easily went back and forth. I would definitely recommend this place.

We were looking for a relaxing vacation to get away from it all and had a blast. Loved the house, loved the amenities, loved the location and proximity to the Sound and the gulf, loved Navarre. Had a great time!

Property, location was great. I didn't get the access code until less than two hours before check in but communications after that were great.

Basic beach house rental. Interior was a little dated and worn but basically what we expected. There is no kitchen table, just bar seats. . The issues we had were minor and the owner responded quickly to my texts and calls. Nice collection of bicycles the grands enjoyed. Beach was a short walk and there was parking if we wanted to load stuff into the truck for drop off. Best thing about the beach was there was room for everyone without being cramped by rows of beach umbrellas and tents. We will probably look for a newer and/or upscale house in the same area next year. If we go back to this one we have a list made of the things we should have brought with us starting with a broom, more towels, a few blankets, an ice maker, a hand vac, etc.
