What a cool Historic property, with quirky features, the view is second to none, the owner was lovely and breakfast was great. The suggestion to book Lili next door for dinner was an unforgettable experience thank.you. Berat was amazing

Beautiful family house on the uphill part of Berat. The room was comfortable with a small bathroom We unfortunately didn’t have a view (small window facing a wall) but there are rooms with a view. The garden is lovely overlooking the city and you might even come across a wild turtles making its way down from the mountain! The house wine is delicious so I definitely recommend drinking it around sunset in the garden. Breakfast is served in a small room with other guests it was simple but enjoyable. The host (mother and son) were very accommodating, they recommend sites, restaurants and advise you on free parking.

It is a bit of a climb to get to the house. If you bring suitcases be aware that you will have to climb several flights of (uneven) stone stairs to get there. It’s about 10-20 min walk uphill (depending on your baggage and the temperature). The only other thing is since it’s a family owned house you could hear everyone from the corridor.
