We stayed at this property for 6 nights and everything about it was amazing. The hosts were fantastic, the location and having your own igloo / section of the river was awesome. On arrival the teepee fire was already lit and ready to cook, and the main cabin was bigger than we expected.

If you go in the winter when its below freezing, it can be uncomfortable to have to step outside to get to the bathroom/shower, or always needing to put on more clothes and shoes for 3 seconds outside (but it is needed as it can get so cold). Nothing to be done to fix this, it's just the way it was built.

wonderful location to stay

the location is in the middle of a very area. The accommodation is pitorisk, you enjoyed the sauna & Jacuzzi, as well as the Tippie. the Glas-Iglo is wonderful and we have been lucky we saw the Northern Light very well. Thefamily is very nice and helpful during the stay and also with recommendations and organizing trips. we have fallen in love with Lapland

Magical place - absolutly breathtaking!

This was the most amazing accommodation I have experienced so far. Absolutely outstanding and breathtaking. An absolute magical place. The combination of tradition and modern, their attention to details has turned Ollero into a comfortable place allowing you to unwind and relax. We loved everything about it - the cottage, the sauna and of course the glass igloo. And yes we did see the northern lights while being comfortably under the blankets in the warm glass igloo. Arttu and Anni went the extra mile to turn this into a special vacation for us. Thank you!

I usually don’t write reviews... and probably I wouldn’t this time to keep it as a hidden gem. But I have to honest, it’s hard to single out one thing that was great, because just everything was awesome. The location, right on the lake, the cosy buildings, the cool igloo, the unique sauna, the sustainable focused concept and Last but certainly not least the amazing hosts!! THANK YOU!! We’ll certainly be back!

Family vacation

Ollero Eco Lodge is a perfect place for a getaway close to nature and yet close to the city and sports activities. The pictures do not do justice to the premises, the lodge is beautiful, facilities are modern and yet you get the feeling of history as well. All the communication was easy and the hosts most helpful and friendly. Everything operates perfectly. The glass iglu is simply an amazing experience as well as the new sauna. The main sleeping quarters are functional and comfortable. It is totally quiet and peaceful and the woods as well as the river are magnifently beatiful.Our whole family with teenagers and young adults enjoyed the experience of staying at Ollero Eco Lodge! I highly recommend this place. If you are looking for accommodation around Rovaniemi, look no further!
