Great apartment with fabulous views.

Really well equipped and spacious property with fabulous views. Liam and Jane were really friendly and helpful and made our stay really easy. Drying room downstairs came in handy too!

Great weekend in North Devon.

The apartment is on the top floor of a beautiful arts and craft house. It is cosy and welcoming with personal touches like fresh flowers , home made cakes and a bottle of fizz. The property has a well appointed kitchen , extremely clean throughout with very comfortable beds. The view from the apartment is wonderful. The Tarka trail is literally at the end of the garden for a flat walk along the estuary in both directions. There is a well stocked deli on the waterfront that sells daily papers and great breakfasts. All the pubs and restaurants are in easy walking distance and of a high standard. I would recommend staying at The Moorings 100%.

Enjoyable cycling break in a comfortable apartment in excellent location

Lovely apartment with beautiful views from the windows across the estuary. Easy access to the Tarka trail for cycling or walking and short walk to the beach and restaurants Hosts very helpful allowing us to use garage for our bikes always on hand if any help needed. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

Amazing views and comfortable and attractive apartment. Lovely walks , cafes and restaurants within walking distance and fantastic bus service for venturing out. Beds comfy and sleep blissful.

A lovely few days in a well appointed apartment with lovely views in an excellent location.

Lovely airy apartment, tastefully decorated and well provisioned with all we needed. Nice touches such as fresh flowers, coffees, biscuits, milk and wine. Hosts were there to greet us and happy to provide information on the facilities and locality. Excellent facilities, kitchen well equipped. The views from the windows are stunning and the location a short walk from the beach, good shop and restaurants. We cycled on the Tarka Trail which is a short distance away, and there are lots of lovely places to see locally.

Finally found it ....

Everything about the property was perfect , location , safe parking .....and it literally had everything you needed and more , extremely impressed with the decor , the owners whom we bumped into were also friendly and pleasant ....amazing touches all around , fresh flowers from the garden , refreshments in the fridge even a set of binoculars to use . Loved every part of it . We would love to return soon ....

Superb from booking to check-out.

Communication with the host was superb. There was a minor hitch obtaining the keys on arrival, which was instantly solved by the host........from Greece!

Great location

Great location, view is amazing. Really nice and helpful welcome when we got to the property. Only stayed one night but both said all the facilities are there for you to stay longer. Walked on the Tarka trail in the morning and the property is right next to it.

A lovely apartment in a great location with welcoming hosts who helped make our stay more enjoyable.

The apartment was on the top floor of an interesting house and offered great views and a comfortable experience. There weren’t too many steps to negotiate and there was a small landing half way up which was useful. The facilities were excellent with a useful small kitchen and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom provided a powerful shower and was warm. The rooms were well maintained, decorated and clearly well-looked after. There was a lovely, light, airy feel to the rooms, accentuated by the wonderful views from all the windows. The location is also very good, being about a 5-minute stroll into Instow - the short cut through the garden is a bonus. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and lovely to talk to - they responded quickly and positively if any issues arose. Overall, an excellent stay and we would gladly stay again.

Nothing really - there was an issue with the heating of the apartment initially, but it was dealt with promptly and wasn’t too much of a problem overall.

Beautiful relaxing stay

The most amazing views over the estuary and sunsets are brilliant . Attentive but not intrusive owners. Every is provided with thought and attention to detail. Totally relaxing place with walking access to two pubs and restaurants , a village shop and post office .
