Mid-City Magic 4

The house was lovely- tall ceilings and nice decor. Spacious for our group and laundry in unit was great. Quiet, transitioning neighborhood- a block from Trader Joe’s and 5 mins from Ruby Slipper on Broad.

Lacked some basics- like literally 2 forks in the silverware collection so we had to buy plastic. No kitchen towels so had to use paper towels for everything. Limited towels in bathrooms and we bought more toilet paper. WiFi is not secure. Feels like that could all be easily addressed Biggest issue though was poor communication- I contacted host through Booking a week in advance to ask for early check in. I get that’s an accommodation- but had to follow up multiple times. Ultimately we worked it out after several messages and phone calls- which was much appreciated. Then when we arrived, the downstairs AC wasn’t operating. I immediately contacted host and he said he would send his guy- but no guy ever showed up and AC never addressed for remainder of our stay. Upstairs was working fine. Thankfully there are great ceiling fans and we had an unseasonably cool weather.

The property was very nice. Kinda threw us off because we didn’t see it on google but it’s most definitely just like as the picture shows.

The air was not working up stairs. We called, someone came out the first day and said it was fix but it wasn’t. It only cooled off because the sun went down. Everyone had to b dow stairs until they was ready to go to bed. Ants was showing up in the kitchen out of nowhere, the sink disposal had a bad smell to it. If the driveway was a lil more easier n wider it’ll be good. The drop from it coming out was a bit hard but overall the stay was great. I would reserve again as long as the air is working and the other small things are good.

Everything was as expected, my family and I were very pleased.
