-4 Bedrooms (one on the main floor) – 3 Queen beds and 2 twin beds
-2 Bathrooms – Tub shower combination, walk-in shower
-Hosts up to 8 guests (including infants and children)
-Dog friendly (One small adult dog - $100 CAD pet fee)
-Private parking for up to 2-3 vehicles, contactless check in
-Electric fireplace, central heating and air conditioning
-High speed WiFi and TV with access to streaming services
Butterfly Cottage was designed by a well-respected local architect (Victor Tarnoy) and offers a spacious and luxurious open floor plan, with cathedral ceilings, great room and a wrap-around deck for outdoor living - all within a short stroll of the lake, oldest golf course in North America and historic downtown shopping, dining, theatre and culture.
The main floor of Butterfly Cottage you will find the fully-equipped kitchen:
-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee and tea to get you started
-Sugar packets, salt, and pepper
-Microwave, toaster, flat top stove, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher
-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)
-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths
Everything you need to set the table for a meal with family and friends. The dining area has an extra-large farmer table with seating up to 8 guests!
There is a bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. Large living room with television, electric fireplace, and piano! Plenty of windows for you to relax and watch the butterflies and enjoy the natural sunlight! There is a bathroom with a tub and shower combination!
The main floor laundry is located next to the kitchen supplied with:
-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets.
Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.
Walking up to the 2nd level of Butterfly Cottage on wooden stairs are 3 additional bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd bedroom has a set of twin beds. The bathroom showcases a claw foot tub and shower combo.
Imagine yourself on a sunny day sitting in a rocking chair on the porch sipping Niagara-on-the-lake's award-winning wine, eating fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, and enjoying a gas BBQ/grill with family and friends. Butterfly Cottage offers accommodation that invites you to come back again and again! Many of our bookings are return guests!
The butterfly-friendly gardens provide a tranquil backdrop for family get-togethers and beyond the trickling sounds of the pond are blackberry bushes laden with fruit for our guests to enjoy in late summer!

We were there for a girls getaway and the Butterfly Cottage was perfect! A beautiful location with a 5 minute walk to the lake which took you to a trail that followed the lakeshore or you could take a scenic walk along the gorgeous town streets. Downtown was a 20 minute walk.The cottage was well equipped. The beds were comfy and there was lots of cupboard/drawer space and good bedside lighting, which is important for us readers!

The property is beautiful and in a great location about a kilometre walk from the downtown. House was clean and bedrooms were a good size. Kitchen is well equipped but could use some good coffee and some sugar There were ants on the counter so we kept our food in the fridge We had a great time
