Very good location if you visit Sesto Calende. Great, communicative host. The host provides a residence parking permit for the stay, which is very handy if you travel with a car.
The house and room have a slightly older feel; a light refresh could make them even more comfortable and inviting.

Katia met us to hand over the keys and explain anything we needed to know about the apartment, She was very helpful & on hand if needed. She very kindly let us checkout later than 10 AM. Lovely lady. The apartment is basic but we knew this before booking, it had everything we needed & was clean & tidy with very good air conditioning. It is very well positioned for all local bars. restaurants, lake side walks & the train station. You really are living with the locals, we found everyone very friendly and helpful, we even had a neighbourhood cat visit us on our last night. I would definitely recommend staying here. Sesto Calande is a beautiful chilled out place, we would recommend taking the train for the 20 mins trip to Stresa & then on a hop on hop off ferry trip to the Borromean Islands. We loved this holiday, came home with big smiles on our faces. xx
Unfortunately it rained on and off but the weather does what the weather does lol. This did not spoil our time here at all, Some of the down pours were spectacular & we enjoyed dodging them in the local bar. xx
