Villa Rosa is an exceptional boutique hotel. We stayed in the main building (honeymoon suite) and couldn’t have imagined a better stay. The staff were so attentive, kind and genuine, we felt very well looked after. The hotel also looks after two well behaved dogs (who are not the dogs you might occasionally hear barking at night).
The breakfast was delicious, and dinner was very tasty. We would highly recommend setting aside an afternoon or morning to relax at the hotel as this place deserves to be enjoyed. It is quiet and away from the bustling city of Kandy - it’s up a steep hill and also means it’s not walkable distance. This wasn’t an issue at all for us and hotel has a complementary tuktuk service to the city, which we appreciated.
Overall, a perfect stay, highly recommend!

Lovely colonial home turned into a luxury hotel. Meals were delicious, the room was very well-appointed, comfy and had fine views and great morning birdsong. Staff were excellent - thank you Nilanka for the excellent tour of the bustling market while you shopped for our dinner.
