About this house rental
The Quarry Retreat is a uniquely private resort style residence situated on 20 acres in the most beautiful Martinsville Valley, only 2 hours north of the Sydney CBD and 25 minutes from the Hunter Valley.
The Quarry Retreat provides luxurious, private holiday accommodation surrounded by wonderful gardens and spectacular views of the countryside and private lake.
The property offers everything your heart, family and friends could desire.
And only 30 mins away from the beautiful Hunter Valley and wineries.
The facilities at the Quarry Retreat will ensure your stay is as restful, romantic or active as you seek.
Perfectly suited for two families of four split over two levels. The property has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and can accommodate up to 13 people with the use of an extra pull down couch.
The house is coupled with all the modern conveniences including wifi and phone service.
There is easy access into town for shopping, movies, Hunter Valley vineyards, sailing on Lake Macquarie and central coast beaches.
However, you will not want to leave after experiencing the breathtaking setting, seclusion and luxury of our property. Pack all your food and drinks and settle in for a wonderful stay.

What a spot. This place has it all. We had an excellent 3 days with no lack of entertainment at hand at the quarry. The hosts were super helpful as well when we had questions.

Absolutely fabulous property. So many spaces to explore, house was spotless and host Tracy was so easy to communicate with. We hope to be back again!

Nice house, but bedrooms need a big update (quite outdated primitive furniture), no lights on porch makes quite difficult to locate the house on arrival and get your staff out the car when arrived after sunset. No internet whatsoever, I do understand no wifi on offer, but we couldn't even used own data to communicate with family, watch Netflix etc. We discussed with Lisa an arrangements of extra bed (as two single ladies were travel and share the room) and beddings for the foldable sofa bed in common area, just incase one of them wanted to take it. That hasn't been done as arranged. One single lady was share the room with a couple. Neither of them felt comfortable. It was a big disappointment. I tried to call to speak to someone, but all numbers on books went to an answer machine. Kitchen well equipped. Great pool and tennis court and BBQ was the only highlight of our stay.
