Claudio My House

Claudio was a fantastic host, very friendly, helpful, responsive to any messages we sent. He gave great local restaurant and supermarket recommendations, and he also supplied us with a suggested sightseeing itinerary. The apartment is in a great location, surrounded by nice shops and restaurants. Only a 15/20 min walk to the Vatican, and a 30 min walk over the river into the old town. Very easy to pick up an Uber into the town centre and cost on average around €11. Travel time from Ciampino airport was around 30 mins and the taxi cost us €40. The apartment is very spacious, we were a family of 4 and felt we had plenty of space. The air conditioning was a god send as we stayed in Rome during the heatwave.

If I'm going to be honest and picky, I would say there were a few small things, like no bread knife or a tea towel for drying the dishes. (We used a bathroom hand towel) The sofa in the lounge only accommodates 3 people max, so someone had to sit on one of the hard plastic chairs. Although clean, (not immaculate) the apartment could do with a little TLC, a paint refresh and none of the door locks on the bathrooms work. The bedroom pillows could do with replacing as they are very flat and lumpy. We did strip our beds on departure (being helpful) I wish we hadn't as the mattresses are looking past their best.

Claudio is a great host, gave us great recommendations and was super kind. I’d stay here again!

Spärliche Küchenausstattung, Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Kein Geschirrspüler. Keine Lappen und Trocknungstücher.

The location was phenomenal and it had everything we needed for a family of 8.
