- Main room very bright with 2 "stresless" armchairs and their pouffes, TV, tables, board games. a round table, 4 chairs a sideboard containing the necessary crockery.
- Fitted kitchen open to the main room: table, induction hob, extractor hoods, microwave, oven / grill, fridge / freezer, coffee maker + nespresso, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, dishes and kitchen utensils , table and iron.
- 2 independent bedrooms: 1st with 140 X 190 bed, bedside tables, wardrobe / wardrobe, chair.(a baby bed can be provided)
2nd with 2 beds of 90 X 190 desk, shelves, library.
The rooms are equipped with 2 double glazed windows + shutter to ensure calm
despite the proximity of the station.

The hosts were so kind and attentive. They helped make our stay memorable by giving great recommendations for local restaurants and sites. The room was well equipped with all we needed, and the laundry was a big plus! We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with breakfast, or wine in the afternoon. Within an easy walk of shops, museums, food, etc. They also made check out easy when we had to change plans to leave earlier. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful apartment just outside of the city walls of Avignon. It was a simple walk to the center of the city. The couple that rented us the place is very sweet and helpful!

We had a lovely 2 days in this apartment. We were warmly greeted by the hosts who spent time with us to tell us about the area and things that may be of interest to us. The apartment has all the mod cons and they had thoughtfully put cold drinks in the fridge for us! As it was very hot when we were there, the aircon was much appreciated! We managed to find parking out on the road each day.Thanks again for allowing us to stay.

I spent 28 days in the most comfortable, well equipped apartment imaginable. And not only that, it is a pleasant walk to all modes of transportation and city center. And also the FREE bus stops on my street. Couldn't ask for a more convenient situation when visiting a foreign country.

We enjoyed our stay at Françoise and Andre’s. Françoise has equipped the apartment with everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure.The location was perfect. An easy walk into Avignon center as well as the local train station.Françoise and André were so attentive. They gave us a tour of the apartment, provided wonderful information about the area, making check in very easy.We felt right at home.We did not do a winery tour. I don’t know why that was included in this review??

I cannot say enough good things about my stay. The location is fantastic. It is around the corner from the train station in the downtown area of Avignon, and it is super quiet. Francoise and Andre are really nice and the check-in process was great. I have stayed in other apartments through other booking websites and this has been my best experience in ever. The kitchen is well stocked, and I was able to make lattes every day. The bedroom was very comfortable and the individual heating system worked fine. I wasn’t there in the warmer months, but there was individual air-conditioning units in the rooms so I do not believe that would be a problem. The balcony was a great with a really nice view. The kitchen was well stocked, and I was able to shop and cook with no problems. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be back.

A lovely 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities you need for enjoying your stay. We loved the kitchen and especially enjoyed the deck with the view of the red tiled rooftops of Avignon. We took several day trips by train and really loved that our apartment was so close to the train station. That was a definite plus!

This is a nice little apartment just a very short walk from the old city. It is not very modern but it is comfortable and has everything you need. The hosts are absolutely delightful and they make sure you have a great stay.

Andre and Francoise were the best hosts! They met me off the train and showed me every detail about the apartment. It is so well fitted out, nothing is missing. It’s like being in your home away from home. The location is great with easy walking to everything in old Avignon. It’s near the train and bus station but the windows are so well insulated that you do NOT hear the trains. Andre and Francoise are very friendly and they enjoy getting to know more about the people who stay in their apartment. It was a chance for me to practice my French and for Francoise to practice her English! I would highly recommend visitors to Avignon to stay in this apartment and would definitely stay there again if I return to Avignon.

We arrived at the central bus station, and made the short walk to the property. Francoise and Andre had previously contacted us to ask our approximate arrival time, so when we texted them from the front door they were walking up the sidewalk within five minutes. We were given a good walk-through of the spotless apartment, cold drinks were waiting in the fridge, and they gave us lots of good advice on local attractions and amenities, along with an invitation to contact them if we had any questions or issues along the way. The apartment was ideally situated for our stay, a few minutes walk to the heart of old Avignon, and we were even able to walk to Villeneuve les Avignon. We took a day trip by bus to Aix en Provence, and rented a car for the day to visit some Luberon hill villages that we hadn't seen on our walk just prior to arrival in Avignon. We had originally planned to rent a car for three days prior to driving it to Marseille airport for the flight home, but parking is a bit tight in the area, and we opted to take the train to MRS instead. The apartment was perfect for our visit, very well equipped, and Francoise and Andre were perfect hosts. The building was quiet, and the balcony was nice for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine.

Apartment is veryclean, spacious. It has everything needed for a long stay(2-3 weeks). Sadly we were only there for 3 nights. Host's were great. Picked us up at train. Explained the apartment and the walled city to us. Lots of tourists information to read through. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

The apartment is as shown. Madame gave an orientation to the area with a map with suggestions for groceries and cafes. Quiet neighborhood, though behind the train station; there are 2 actual windows keeping the sound out. Less than a 10 minute walk to cafes and grocery stores. Elevator worked well. Easy to do day trips, 17 minute train to Arles. Comfortable beds, big kitchen. Lovely balcony with views of the rooftops. I hope to return soon.

The owners were the best we’ve had. They met us at the property and answered every question we had. European appliances being different than US appliances need a bit of instruction! The owners even had us over for drinks and French snacks. This was so kind of them as they also gave us tips on places to dine and things to see. Good location near the train station. Other owners have not been so generous so we appreciated our owners a whole lot! Thank you Françoise and Andre! Françoise speaks English enough to communicate and answer questions. There is not private parking but there is public free parking across the street. If you’re going to Provence, Avignon is the place to stay.

Location is very good, right outside the walled city and close to the train and bus station, shops and sights, all an easy walk to. The apartment is very comfortable and clean and has an elevator is on site. The hosts, Andre and François are very welcoming and generous. We enjoyed their company very much. We loved our stay in this VRBO. The accommodations were incredibly clean and the best equipped of any guest accommodations we have ever used. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning, quiet, safe and secure. When we arrived we found cold Pellegrino, a Coca Cola, and filled ice trays! They even left several Madeleines! Ten minute walk to shopping and the Palais du Pape and the Pont. Our hosts were so kind as to take us to the dock to start our river boat cruise. A lovely VRBO hosted by two lovely people. Highly recommended.

Francoise and Andre were top-notch hosts. We honestly cannot think of anything they could do better. They even allowed us to store our tandem bike in their garage. The apartment is immaculate and features a nice view from the forth floor porch, which has a lovely eating area. It is ideally located for accessing the walled portion of Avignon by foot.

From the time they may us at the train station, to the time they dropped us off at the Quay two days later, our hosts were lovely and helpful. The apartment was roomy, fully furnished and immaculate. The apartment backs up to one road and the central train station, but the double windows cut out ALL the train noise. The view from the balcony in front was lovely. The building and apartment felt very secure.

The hosts were super. It was like going to stay at your grandparents- but they spoke a different language. They gave us great local recommendations- were very accommodating. They have cold drinks in the fridge and coffee. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and pots and pans. It was very comfortable, with a lovely quiet terrace on the back. Location was great to walk into the walled city, with easy public transportation. It was across from the train station, but very quiet with double windows and shutters at night. The street outside the flat was usually deserted, with graffiti on the wall opposite -detailing women’s murders - that seemed a bit odd, but out of the control of our hosts. I would stay here again.

Françoise and Andre were the most gracious hosts we’ve encountered in all our travels. Despite our language barrier (we speak little French) Andre and Françoise (who speaks quite good, but limited, English) invited us to their penthouse apartment for wine and hors d'oeuvres. They were so generous and inviting we couldn’t have felt more welcome. As for the rental apartment – it was as comfortable as home, with leather studio chairs and foot rests that made for great relaxing after a long day of sight seeing in Provence. Although the garage parking looks a little challenging at first (it’s a narrow entry with a large tree close by) it became easier over time and something I’d recommend, since street parking nearby is almost non-existent. The apartment is conveniently located to the inner-city and walkable within minutes to all the sites of interest. The train station, which is across from the apartment building, has a very nice bakery/sandwich shop within a quick five-minute walk. All the apartment windows are double paned, so you will not hear any train or street noise. We really enjoyed our time having breakfast on the back terrace. It was so quiet and pleasant for a location so close to the walled city. We would definitely stay at this location again. Not just for the location but for the comfort and hospitality of the owner. It was truly a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Thank you Francoise and Andre for making our stay such an enjoyable experience.

We really loved this apartment - very cozy, clean, comfortable. Super convenient to all the sites in Avignon - you can get from the apartment to the bridge at Avignon (the other side of town) in a 20-minute walk (with lots of things to see, great places to eat, shops and such in between). And Francoise and Andre were fantastic landlords - kind, helpful, accommodating. It was a pleasure to meet them!

They met us at the train and took us to the apartment, they showed how everything worked and made sure we were settled. We have been using Home Away for vacations for many years and Andre and Francoise were two of the nicest and most helpful property owners we have met!! We enjoyed our stay there very much!!

We were met by the property owners and given all the information we needed about the area and the apartment. The apartment itself was spotless and better than a number of hotels we have stayed in. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was located behind the train station, although there was no noise from the trains due to double windows. This was very useful for our day trips to other towns in the area. It was only a short walk from the city walls so supermarkets and bakeries were easily accessible without a car. We stayed for two weeks and found our hosts to be very welcoming and helpful and we would love to go back some day. Highly recommended!

This apartment is located perfectly in Avignon, just outside of old city walls, which made it easy to drive to surrounding areas as well as to walk into the walled part of Avignon. This is by far the best place you can choose when looking for a place to stay in Avignon. Françoise and André were so accommodating and kind. André even picked us up at the TGV train station and took my husband back there the next morning to pick up our rental car. The apartment is clean, completely stocked with amenities and the location is idea for walking to the center of Avignon. We have stayed at other places during our time in France but nothing has compared to this one! We will be back and will most certainly hope to stay here again. We had a wonderful four-night stay in this apartment, which is located just outside Avignon’s ancient walls. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped. Walking to the major sites in Avignon takes only 10-15 minutes, and there is a convenient shuttle bus (.50 Euro) that runs frequently and will take you to the heart of the historic area in about 5 minutes. But the best part of our stay was meeting Francoise and Andre, who are the most gracious and friendly hosts, welcoming and helpful in every way. An ideal visit to a very interesting city in Provence.

Our family of four had a delightful time at this apartment. Perfectly supplied by Francoise and Andre--who were amazing and kind and very attentive. Apartment has everything one would need while traveling (I loved the washing machine and hang dry on the deck!) while being comfortable and relaxing. It is very centrally located to--Pont du Gard (our favorite please don't miss it), Orange, Nimes, and of course Avignon. Thank you for a wonderful stay and hospitality.

Absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful apartment in Avignon. The apartment was roomy, and from the deck there is a lovely view of an Avignon neighborhood with all the red-tiled roofs and secret gardens, and it had every amenity you could need in the apartment. Even air conditioning, which was so appreciated when it gets hot! Very comfortable, and very quiet. And our hosts, Francoise et Andre, just couldn't be nicer people. Picked us up from the train station, took us to the apartment, showed us how everything worked. Merci beaucoup! Vous etes si gentils. Will definitely return here.

This apartment is conveniently located behind the Avignon Center train station, just a 5 minute walk. 15 minutes to the center of Avignon. The apartment is well appointed with all you will need for your stay. The highlights of our trip were Françoise and Andre, out hosts. They went out of their way to ensure that we arrived safely and arranged to store our luggage until our departure early in the evening. Their recommendations for dinner were spot on.

Met at station by very friendly owner of apartment who also took us back at the end of our stay. Apartment very clean and comfortable and everything one needed to feel at home. We were particularly grateful for the airconditioning unit as the temperatures were over 30 all the time we were there. Plenty of information about places to visit in Avignon and outside, also recommendations of different sorts of restaurants. Owners invited us in for aperitifs one evening so we had a good opportunity to try out our French! We hope to return some time but at a cooler season, and can thoroughly recommend the apartment.

If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay in Avignon, then stay here. It's a perfect location because it's a five minute walk to the train station and a 10 minute walk to lots of excellent restaurants. The apartment is just outside the walled city. There is parking along the street, but we opted to pay the extra 8 euros a night for private parking. Francois is a great hostess. There was food and drink awaiting us when we arrived. She has a book with lots of information about places to see and eat. She's very responsive to your questions via email or texting. We had a lovely time at her house with her husband for drinks and delicious homemade appetizers. I would highly recommend that you stay here .

This apartment was spacious, airy and very comfortable. Additionally it had a small balcony which was excellent for al fresco dining. Everything in the apartment was of a high standard. The owners had provided such essentials as dishwasher and washing machine tablets which was greatly appreciated. Francoise and Andre were very welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of information The apartment was just outside the city walls in a quiet area and it was an easy walk into town. For visitors without a car it was a short walk to the bus and train stations and we made trips to Arles and Nimes on the train and to Les Baux on the bus.
