I will start with the good- communicating with the host was great. The location of the apartment is good, though you will still need to be able to walk a bit to get to the attractions. A cab or Uber is an option, but they can be extremely unreliable. The apartment is on the 5th floor but it does have a small a lift/elevator. There are great restaurants right outside your door and a lovely coffee/pastry shop directly across the street. Now the negatives- we struggled with the showers every day. The showers are very temperamental. Most of the time the water was ice cold. When we were able to get hot water you could not move the knob a millimeter or it immediately turned ice cold. Showering was our greatest issue. Space- yes, technically this apartment sleeps 10. We were a group of 9. One of the bedrooms is actually the living space, so we had nowhere to gather. We took some chairs into the small kitchen space, which was awkward. The sleeper sofas were very uncomfortable, according to our guests who slept on them. A few other issues- the floors were very dirty. If you walk in your bare feet or socks they will be very dirty. There is only 1 set of keys. If you want to go off on your own, away from the group, good luck. You have to make sure someone is there to let you in. And the elevator is good but very small. 9 guests and we had to go up one person at a time with our luggage. Overall it is a decent place to stay for the price, especially if you just plan to sleep there. Would be best for a group of younger adults who don’t mind communal living.

My family of 6, including my 85 year old father in law, stayed here for 2 nights, prior to us taking a cruise. The apartment was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Although located on the 5th floor, the building has a small elevator that made access easy. We traveled in mid May during very warm weather. The air conditioning worked well, which made sleeping pleasant. Check in was handled professionally as we were met at the apartment and handed the keys. My only recommendation would be to more clearly identify in advance what door bell button to push to enter the building.
