About this apartment rental

Beachfront 2/2 Southern Sands with fantastic view of the Gulf. Great location -Remodeled Gulf Shores rental on the first floor right in front features million-dollar view of the Gulf of Mexico. This 2 bedroom, 2-bath Southern Sands vacation rental by owners David & Kim is only 1/4 mile from Highway 59, and within walking distance of the activities in Gulf Shores. Including The Hangout, Pink Pony, Bahama Bobs, Lauria’s right across the street, and many shops.

This condo has a super low density with only 18 units and the beach is never overly crowded . It's nicely decorated and recently updated with a tiled walk-in shower and updated hall bathroom with new tub and tile. New floors throughout the condo. We have a fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances.
There is a large open living area with a large 65” TV.

Never knowing what unexpected circumstances may arise we We highly recommend getting the FULL trip insurance against cancellation to protect yourself! No cancellations due to weather

Relaxing is easy in the master bedroom and walk-in shower. Both queen beds have an adjustable headboard. Sit and relax on your large private balcony overlooking the beautiful Gulf waters, white sandy beach and the swimming pool. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the balcony ( our favorite is to grab some donuts and breakfast sandwiches from Livingston Good Donuts) and watch dolphins swim past or pelicans flying by is a great way to start your day!

Be sure to wear sunscreen when out in the sun and reapply often! Don’t let a sunburn keep you inside after your first day on the beach !!!

Come relax and enjoy. Beach chairs are available for rent from Spring through September

There are many things to do in Gulf Shores !!!

Here are a few of our favorites:

Also Please put red filter over your flashlight during sea turtle nesting season (-Nesting Season May 1 - Oct ) -free filter at the visitor center in OB on Beach Blvd or GS north of the bridge on 59 and please fill any holes dug. Dolphin Cruise. Cold Mil Fleet Dolphin Tour is highly recommended but there are several that are great. Also Pirates Cruise and for adults Tiki Cruise
Hermit Crab Catching if you rent a pontoon they are around the islands away from everyone up by the beach and at Little Lagoon Pass Beach.
The Gulf, nice comfortable outdoor seating at The Pass, has some fire pits in cold weather. You order food at the window and they bring it out to you. They also have a bar.
The Hangout. Great for the kids and great for the adults if they want a drink. Games and activities for the kids and they may get soaked. live music after 5, and ping pong.

Come on down and enjoy. * excludes special events.

May 1. - October is Turtle Season.

Please Avoid using flashlights on the beach after dark. Use red flashlights - since Sea turtles are attracted to the white light and become disoriented while being guided by the moonlight or starlight - the light from your flashlight may confuse sea turtles who think it's moonlight, causing them to head in the wrong direction. Instead, put a red filter (which you can pick up for free at the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Welcome Centers) over your flashlight if you're headed out in the evenings to avoid confusing mamas laying their eggs or babies hatching!

Remove all beach gear and trash from the beach each night. Sea turtles can become entangled. Nesting turtles will return to the Gulf without laying eggs if they meet obstacles on the beach.
Do not dig large holes in the sand and please fill any holes you dig! . If you find holes, help by refilling them too. . Not only can sea turtles become trapped, but holes are also dangerous for the people who walk along the beaches. One lady in 2022 fell in one on her first night and broke her leg.

The beach is abeautiful place. Come and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and watch dolphins swim past in the mornings while you watch from your balcony!!

Thank you. Have a great vacation and enjoy!

Great location, close to beach, restaurants etc. Unit needs a lot of attention to cleanliness, hidebed very poor, needs to be propped up to sleep in. Bathroom drain plugged, tv in master won’t work, front door is very loose, keypad numbers wore off
