A special vacation; in the middle of the orchard, between orange and lemon trees, to enjoy the tranquility and the typical landscape of the Huerta del Segura, with views to the mountain, all with a quick and easy access to the coast 25 km and golf courses 11 km, airport from Alicante to 37 km.
Rural house over 100 years old, with thick walls of natural stone cladding, located 2 km from Orihuela and 100 m from the Soto de Miguel Hernandez, where it meets the path of the Segura river (completely flat) and connects from Guardamar to Murcia to make long walks by bike or on foot, in full contact with nature and away from the bustle of the main roads. The Sierra de Orihuela and Callosa are less than 5 km away and there are many hiking routes.
The house is completely renovated, has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with 2 beds, a bathroom with shower and a huge living room-kitchen, with sofa bed and fireplace. Now also with WIFI.
Outside there is a built-in barbecue with a sink, a basket of basketball, an old well with its stone pile, and some fruit trees (where an almost hundred-year-old fig tree with exquisite figs at the end of summer stands out), roses, lavenders, rosemary and outside shower. All in about 500 m2 of garden, ideal for lunch or dinner outdoors. There is also a ping-pong table, 2 bicycles and a baby swing.

On a passé un super séjour, avec un accueil chaleureux ,des produits artisanaux et des fruits locaux comme cadeau d'accueil .La maison dispose de tout ce que l'on peux avoir besoin dans une résidence secondaire . D'où le fait de s'être senti comme a la maison .
Une expérience a renouveler.

We stayed for 6 weeks in this very nice villa. We didn’t want to leave when the time was up, hopefully we can return some time in the future.
There was more than enough cutlery, china, glasses, cooking utensils etc. As we stayed for 6 weeks we happily did a lot of our own cooking.
Begona met us at the villa along with her lovely mother who pointed out everything in the villa we needed to know. Begona had brought us oranges, lemons and a delicious breakfast loaf. Victor comes to service the garden weekly, both Begona and Victor are contactable on their mobile phones. Victor came almost immediately when we needed him to sort out a small problem.
Supermarkets, including Mercadona in Almoradi and Carrefours which is few minutes away in Orihuela also has a Mercadona and others. La Zenia has a fabulous shopping mall, with up to 200 units, which includes restaurants.
The bicycles are well maintained and useful. The very nice beaches are a car journey away. We had a fab time when Victor and Begona invited us to a Spanish restaurant for a traditional Spanish meal with the other family members. We met their father too when he came to the villa to trim a tree.
Children will be quite safe here as the property is fenced with a rolling gate which has a padlock. The views from the villa show fields of growing produce all around with mountains in the background.
You will need a car.
