About this cottage rental

WELCOME to our adorable 2 bedroom cottage that is cozy, private, and comfortable. Stoneycreek Acres has been in the family for more than 50 years and we are carrying on the tradition of sharing this beautiful land with everyone. WE have chickens, ducks, and turkeys strutting in the farmyard for you to enjoy. There are horses, a donkey, and goats year round. Our pigs will say hello in the Summertime. Our 78 acres has 2 ponds for catch and release fishing, kayaking and paddle boating. We would love to give you a tour of the animals, show you the lay of our land and help you with anything you with to do in the surrounding area. There is a stocked kitchen, cozy queen master bedroom with closets, second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a sliding galss door out onto your private deck, and a comfy couch/air mattress in the living room. We have 2 SmarTVs in the living room and bedroom and high speed WiFi throughout the space. We love to welcome well-behaved pets (and their well-behaved masters). Come to see our friendly farm animals and enjoy our Northestern Ohio Slice of Heaven!

Visit nearby Amish country or state parks. Close to 422 E/W and 44 N/S for easy access. Whether you come to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country or come to view all Geauga County has to offer, our cottage is the place for you. We have a 78 acre farm with our house, cottage and farm house (with 2 other rental spaces). There are a few local stores and shops for convenience, or you can drive 15 minutes in any direction to reach Chardon, Garrettsville, Chagrin Falls, or Mantua. Many of our guests come to see nearby county, state and Cuyahoga Valley National Parks. We are approximately 45 minutes from Cleveland and it's many museums, shopping, the zoo, theaters, venues, and events. Please come and enjoy a relaxing stay on our farm!

My husband booked this cottage to work and to see friends and family in the area and he was really pleased with it. Super clean and comfortable, great location, and farm animals! Check in was a breeze and Molly's communication was fantastic. Planning to book this cottage again in the near future and this time I'm going to come along and hang out with the animals!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful location, There are farm animals on the property - my 3 year old grandson loved petting the horses every day. The house is clean and very well stocked. The farm fresh eggs and bread were delicious. Molly is a great host! I will definitely stay here again next year!!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was beautiful and very inviting. Everything was very clean and cozy. The owner communicated about everything regarding the house and even left us with some delicious home baked zucchini bread. We highly recommend this place when needing to get away for some R and R in a serene setting.

Welcoming, inviting, and serene describe the setting and hosts for our stay. The cottage was immaculate with everything our family needed to cook, relax and enjoy a holiday weekend with our puppies near family. Added features were the opportunity to see the farm animals and hear about the history of the farm as well purchase farm eggs and sausage which made for a delicious Easter breakfast.Thank you for an excellent stay, we really appreciate it!

We visit NE 2-3 times a year. Historically we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Painesville/Concord area. We opted for a Vrbo during this stay due to its proximity to Little Punderson. This little cottage was perfect for my family (parents and 2 kids). The kitchen is perfect with its large island. The beds were comfortable. The parking turnaround is convenient. And the owners were incredibly kind in their communication. Overall, a great stay.

Cottage was great! The farm and surrounding areas were beautiful. Visited Chagrin Falls (15 min) for the weekend and had a wonderful time. Molly and Dave were perfect hosts and very helpful. We were looking for a close to home long weekend of relaxation and this cottage was perfect. I wouldn't change one thing. Super easy check-in and great communication with Molly. This cottage is super clean, well equipped, comfortable, and blissfully quiet (with sweet farm land animals for background music). Our beds were comfortable and we slept well. I have kitchen envy for sure. Although it's on the owners property and close(ish) to their home, we had privacy. The boys would be seen once in awhile as they took care of the various animals. Very nice young men. They brought the goats to an area across the driveway so they could 'mow'. We couldn't resist visiting them. So sweet and friendly. The horses and mule are in the same area. We visited them several times. They come right up the fence and allowed us to pet them and feed them grasses. Our dogs were quite curious of all of the animals. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the cottage on Stoneycreek Acres. My wife and I, our four year old, and our dog were looking to spend the weekend close to Punderson State Park and this stay was an absolute delight. The great experience started even before our stay. Molly is a great host. Very quickly responsive to questions and message. The cottage is wonderful. It was spotless on our arrival and felt very homey. It was well stocked in the kitchen and the bathroom. Very nice living room to relax in. comfortable beds. Great farm views out of the back windows (we woke up to the sight of a horse and a donkey out in the field). If you are looking to spend some time at Punderson, it is a very quick drive over there (less than ten minutes). Will definitely stay at this cottage again when we are in the area, and would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those travelling with kids.

Molly & Dave have created a lovely cottage on their farm. We loved the cottage decorations and they had the best food supplements including fresh eggs and zucchini bread. We loved watching the roaming turkeys, chickens and ducks. The back deck is private and peaceful. We'll be back!

Dave, Molly, Colton, Luke and Easton all went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were well taken care of. Tornados ripped through Ohio and were in the line of a super cell that caused a tree to fall and damage the cottage we stayed in - We also lost power too (along with 65,000 other people) Dave and Molly were on the scene and made our stay as comfortable as possible without the power, providing us with a generator and fixing the roof immediately. Their sons kept my son entertained while we were stuck because the roads were blocked, and felt like we were vacationing despite all the issues going on. The house was clean, provided all the amenities we could use (while the power worked) and would absolutely return in a heartbeat. The location is great too, being just a few minutes away from Lake Punderson. It’s worth coming back just to visit their family!

This home is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Much thought went into the details, both large and small, that made this home a joy. All of the things that have been missing in other properties we’ve stayed are included here. This is , hands down, the best appointed kitchen we’ve experienced in a vacation rental! It had every item we could have needed and a well stocked pantry so we could come in and cook a meal before ever heading to the store. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is amazing, and the whole place was incredibly clean (like spotless!). The farm is beautiful and Molly is clearly passionate about guests feeling welcome and cared for. She even has a basket of towels and blankets for your pets. ❤️ We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

The little cottage was so charming and a perfect home base for our adventures this summer. Molly and Dave were very helpful, super friendly and accommodating and full of good ideas on things to do and places to visit. The animals, the scenery, the fresh air, it couldn’t have been better. I have enjoyed this stay very much and am planning my next visit back already! The farm animals are every kids dream, the cottage is very clean and beautifully decorated. Farm fresh eggs and homemade banana bread are a special touch I very much appreciated. Molly and her family are most interesting, accommodating and they make you feel like family. Great time with our kids celebrating their birthdays not too far from where they go to college. Great suggestion by Molly to see Nelson Ledges. Enjoyed our time walking around Chagrin Falls. Cottage was the perfect place to stay and we were able to bring our small dogs.
