El Norte - 3bdrm, 2bath, Heated Pool, Walk to Asu

This remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath house is located within walking distance of Arizona State University and Mill Avenue, which is the heart of downtown Tempe. City bus routes and a light rail system make this location quite desirable. The property is close to Mountain America Stadium at ASU, Grady Gammage Auditorium, Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake, where many outdoor events are held. The AZ Cardinals stadium is a 30-minute drive away so this property is a perfect location for AZ Cardinals games and the annual Fiesta Bowl. If interested, the owner sometimes has extra AZ Cardinals tickets and ASU football and basketball tickets. The nightlife of this college town makes this home ideally located for those who want to vacation in a quiet neighborhood close to where the action is. Since the property is very centrally located in the metro Phoenix area, you can hang out in Tempe or go anywhere in the metro Phoenix area very quickly and inexpensively. Executive as well as designer golf courses are nearby. A short drive will take you to numerous spring training facilities. The Phoenix Zoo is less than five miles away. The living room, bedrooms and the backyard are equipped with cable television. The interior of the house is fully tiled and newly furnished with contemporary furniture. A swimming pool -- heated during the cooler months -- accentuates the covered patio and gas grill in the backyard. When heated, the pool heater is set at 88 degrees but, if the outside temperature gets too cool, the pool temp may not reach 88. That doesn't happen often but it does happen occasionally. There are wet suit tops in the laundry area for your use. Those will help. If you are bringing dogs to the property, please try to keep them out of the pool as dog hair can seriously clog the filtering system. The laundry room is located next to the pool. The property is also conveniently located only 4 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. You will see and hear an occasional plane while sitting at the pool, but that is actually quite enjoyable. With the house's dual pane windows, you will not hear airport noise when inside. We call this property "El Norte" because it is our only property on the north side of the street. El Norte can accommodate 6 guests but, if you need to find lodging for more, we own another vacation rental across the street. You can see it at VRBO.com/395773. It also has a pool. You will not be charged a cleaning fee at any of our properties. El Norte can accommodate a family gathering but cannot accommodate a large event. If you are planning to host an event of any size, please clear it with the owner at time of booking.
