About this cabin rental

This cabin is not only a lakefront; it elevates over the lake and has the best water views Big Bear has to offer. With its own private dock and situated on almost a 1/2 acre with a fully fenced yard, this unique property has much to offer. In the winter, enjoy the views from your private hot tub overlooking the lake and snowcapped mountains. This cabin is very spacious and offers sleeping for 10, as well as a game room with a pool table. Big Bear has plenty of fun things to do, but you may just find yourself enjoying the views from this cabin all day long.

Though our lakefront cabin sleeps 10, please don't think that if you're a party of 2, 4, or 6, it's not for you. We've priced our lakefront to appeal to smaller groups -- even for couples who want a romantic getaway. Though this lakefront is 2600 sq. ft. , it is priced as if it were 1000 sq. ft. and the views this cabin offers are truly breathtaking.

Linda and Norman were wonderful hosts, thoughtful and effective communication. The house is in a quiet location with lake access on a dock. The house is very cozy and well equipped. The power went out during our visit (the entire area, not just the house) and Linda and Norman communicated quickly with us. Perfect for a trip with kids and friends. Thank you!

Our family of 9 (parents, grandparents, teens, kids, and dogs) had an awesome time at this cabin. The best part was having our own boat dock. The views were incredible. The home is a bit outdated but I think that’s part of the reason it was so darn affordable and it didn’t bother us at all. Sitting in the hot tub at night, drinking a glass of wine, and taking in the gorgeous lake view was unforgettable!The owners were very helpful with giving us tips and answering questions- they were also very kind people!We will definitely be staying at this cabin again when we visit Big Bear again!

Six stars out of five. The couple who own this rental couldn’t be sweeter and the view is so much better than any pictures capture, and the cabin is beautifully kept and perfect distance from village. I will use this cabin again next time I go to big bear.

We really enjoyed this beautiful lakefront cabin. The cabin has phenomenal views of the lake with two large balconies and floor to ceiling windows. Our kids loved the game room and we grilled out on the patio. Norman and Linda were very helpful answering all inquiries immediately even before we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Wow, we LOVED our stay! There was 9 girls staying here for my moms 60th birthday and we all were comfortable in the cabin. There was enough space for all of us and we loved the location. Norman and Linda are great hosts and were very responsive and hospitable!

We had a such wonderful stay here and didn't want to leave! The view is absolute perfection and the way the sun shines in through the picture windows in the afternoon makes the entire space feel warm and cozy. Our pup loved sitting on the deck in the morning with me, watching the pelicans swim peacefully on the lake. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and loved having a wood fire every evening. We can't wait to come back!

This lake house was just what my family needed to relax and enjoy Big Bear!! It is directly on the lake with a spectacular view and private dock! The owners, Norman and Linda are just the sweetest who great you upon check-in with flowers and wine!! We love this property very clean with amazing views and very cozy. My two teens had a wonderful time playing in the pool table. The owners were magnificent they explained to us in great detail all the rules and how things work in the house witch it was a great help. Also, the owners were so wonderful they brought us some flowers and bottle of wine. That was very nice of them and they didn’t even know that we were celebrating out wedding anniversary so that made it even better. We had a wonderful time and definitely were coming back next year. My husband and I met our three daughters and their families for a two night stay at this rustic cabin on the lake. If you’re looking for undated design and luxury, this isn’t your place. If you’re looking for a clean, rustic home with amazing, panoramic views, THIS is where you’ll want to be. The view was so captivating we found it difficult to leave the cabin long enough to explore all that Big Bear has to offer. The only reason I gave this property four stars out of five was the sleeping situation. Although the cabin could potentially sleep 10-12, it only sleeps 8 comfortably. There are pull out sofa beds for additional guests but they’re marginal at best. Overall our stay was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Owners met us at the cabin within a couple hours of arrival with a bottle of wine and some flowers. They did their best to ensure we had what we needed. House was nice; a little dated, but comfortable. The view will knock your socks off morning, noon and night!! We were even granted a white Christmas!!! Over all ~ the family had a great holiday!

We had nine guys stay here for the weekend. Great location, amazing views from the deck, plenty of parking and were generally very happy with experience. The house along with furniture, appliances, etc are a bit aged but was no biggie. All in all a great experience and would do again.
