Everything was really nice. Great kitchen, lication and peace and quiet.

We booked the White Tail Cabin as a sibling/family trip and had a great time grilling, being outside, and cooking s’mores. Everyone was so nice at check in. Our only complaint about the property was that there was a hot tub and it was why we booked it. The hot tub never actually worked and when we called no one came to help. We later found out maintenance was very busy, it would have just been nice to have been told. When told about this issue, management was inherently kind and understanding about our frustrations. Overall, the costumer service was wonderful and everyone was very friendly and we would book with them in the future.

We came here for a family weekend to enjoy the fire pit, ponds, and hot tub. The hot tub took 16hrs to warm up. Almost all of the jets are missing or damaged. This hot tub has far surpassed its life. It is an eye sore and needs removed or replaced. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a hot tub, pass by this one. The fire pit area could be nice if they removed all of the leaves. This was end of March and the leaves had obviously been there since fall. The couches are also in disrepair. They are showing heavy signs of wear and smell. It is my opinion that this property is doing as little maintenance as possible while trying to maximize income. Previous reviews mentioned some of these issues and we were hoping the issues had been resolved. They were not. Please protect your investment and respond to negative reviews. This place could be awesome if they took care of these issues. You should not advertise a hot tub as an amenity when it is barely functional and looks the way this one does.

The property managers never reached out to me after several concerning things. We had no air conditioning, even though it was on the listing. It was 85 degrees during our stay. Couldn’t open the windows because there’s no screens. The worst part of the stay was finding someone else’s underwear under the couch. There was several items left behind by others throughout the cabin including makeup and cream cheese in the cabinets. Our bed sheets had boogers and hair on them.i don’t think they cleaned all the beds. In fact, the check out guide says to leave the beds unmade so they know to clean them. Yikes.I even contacted the property manager during our stay that an animal had died in one of the rooms. I couldn’t find it. They just said they’d “look into it.” So we slept with the dead animal, with no ac, with the windows closed. And as the title mentioned, it’s not a private property, it’s next to a public park where people fish often. And the property line is one yard away from the cabin. Also, staying in the rainy season can result in extreme flooding. We were trapped with all roads closed and couldn’t call the property manager due to lack of cell service.they never messaged me back, we ended up waiting several hours and driving through the flooded areas without help.

No top sheets just fitted on any of the beds also hot tub broke midway through first night ( 4 person hot tub for a 6 person cabin not a good fit)

We had a great time exploring Hocking hills state park while we were there and relaxing back at the cabin during the evening. Only thing that kind of sucked was the wifi would connect but would then said no internet connection, so it was hard to keep in contact with our pet sitter while we were there. Especially since when you get back there you have no cell service. But other than that it was very peaceful and relaxing.
