The location was excellent for me as I was visiting the Catholic University (so less than 5 minutes away) and Foz is a lovely residential area with a great beach restaurant/cafe for watching the sunset and local restaurants - and the nearby art museum. Loved the area.
The appartment was very clean, wifi worked perfectly and having the little garden made it feel bigger. Aircon worked well, bedlinen and bathroom clean.
The ladder up to the main bed is pretty hard to manage if you are at all infirm or tired. Not for the faint hearted. But bed comfy (better for one or two skinny ones).
The one thing I ask you change though is the sofabed. This is a futon and is VERY uncomfortable. Whoever slept on that (as the top bed was a little small so we took it in turns) got no sleep. Also was missing the duvet cover for that bed (was sheets and pillow cases) which is necessary even if only two people staying as ladder doesnt' suit everyone.

Its location is amazing. Close to Mercado da Foz and all other relevant places in this district.
The ladder to climb to the bed is a nightmare. Then the AC heats only the upper portion of the house. While your suffocating in bed, you freeze to death when you come downstairs to to to the bathroom.
