Lovely host, property and insane location. High ceilings, BIG (great for either two people OR two couples); note: only one set of keys; great recommendations and information, walkable to everything (as Ortigia is). Beautiful ornate building that also houses a museum.
Sadly the construction that the property mentioned would be completed by our stay, was not completed and it obscured the balcony and balcony view to the sea. Was a bit loud upon wakeup. I know it was likely out of their control but that was a bummer. Beautiful antiquated building though.

A spacious and centrally located (just off the Piazza Duomo) property that was well ventilated and lit with natural light. Property manager met us on our arrival to let us in to the apartment; and arranged a taxi for our departure, that arrived promptly.
This property is a little frayed at its edges and not as clean as it might be (broken table edging, dusty in corners, leftover medicine pills in bedside drawer). The advertised view of the Duomo and sea were obscured by scaffolding over the front face of the building, and the workers using this arrived early to wake us with their noise then were quiet for the greater part of the day.
