A destination wedding location for an intimate hill country wedding, an ideal getaway or a great place to call home if you are in the area for a wedding.
We allow events but only with pre approval with an additional event fee.

we used this location for a friends outing of three married couples all in our 70's.this was a central location for us to drive for day excursions to Austin, San Antonio, Waco and Fredericksburg. House owner/manager did have to be contacted for one problem, which was taken care of immediately and she made it right to us. The only thing I would possibly add would be maybe additional seating, as we did have beautiful sunset from the west side of the house which we enjoyed several times.We had perfect amount of seating for us, but for a larger party than 6, it would be short seating outside.highly recommend this place for a get away.

Beautiful home and perfect for hosting events.

Our son had a wedding at Ma Maison up the road, so we rented this place for the family to stay at. This is a beautiful house on a large property. Pictures did do it justice. One Caviat (out of anyone's control), if your are booking in the winter and there is a chance of freezing precipitation, it has a beautiful wrap around wooden elevated porch and the front door faces mostly north. It was a sheet of ice and the ramp to get up on the side was icy. Just be sure to step up from the grass by the ramp and then use the railing to help get to the non-icy part on the side of the house. Right up against the front of the house was less icy to get to the front door. The owner did warn us of the ice and cautioned us to stay on the grass. We had an adventure!! Beautiful property and our son and new daughter-in-law had a beautiful wedding close by!!
