Summary:
We are Rosenborg, an apartment hotel set directly across from the Round Tower in the heart of Copenhagen, housed in a neoclassical building from 1830. Our 15 spacious apartments follow a homey Scandinavian style, with warm materials and a calm atmosphere. With self check-in and fully equipped apartments, we combine the ease of having a place of your own with access to hotel services.
The Space:
This three-bedroom apartment is located on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor of our building. It includes three separate bedrooms, a living area with a dining table for eight, a full kitchen, one bathroom, and a small desk. The interior is kept in a homey Scandinavian style, shaped by the building’s character. The apartment is arranged to accommodate up to eight guests, and includes a desk as well for working or reading.
Amenities:
→ Sleeping: 3 beds (2 × 180 cm + 1 × 140 cm), 1 sofa bed (160 cm), linens + towels, dim-out curtains
→ Bathroom: Walk-in shower, eco toiletries, hairdryer
→ Kitchen: Stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, mini-fridge w/freezer, kettle, Nespresso machine + pods
→ Tech: Smart TV w/ casting, free high-speed Wi-Fi
→ Comfort: Iron + ironing board, laundry facilities, vacuum cleaner, eco-friendly household cleaning products (hand soap, detergent, dishwasher tablets)
The laundry is shared and located in the basement, where there is also a luggage storage with individual lockers. The building does not have an elevator.

Guest Access:
Our concept is simple: the apartments are fully equipped and carefully designed, accessed through easy self check-in with a personal code, and supported by a 24/7 online reception for anything needed before or during the stay. Extra services can be arranged through our Guest Hub, including additional housekeeping, late check-out (available for purchase until 1pm, depending on availability), and baby cribs and high chairs at no charge. Free mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for visits of eight nights or more. Luggage can be stored in the basement, and parking is available through our Q-Park partnership with a guest discount.
The Neighborhood:
Rosenborg is set right in the historic center of Copenhagen, a few steps from the Round Tower, small pedestrian streets, cafés, bakeries, and local shops. It’s an easy area to explore on foot, with parks, museums, and everyday conveniences close by. We keep restaurant and café recommendations in our Guest Hub, and we’re always happy to share tips or help with bookings.
Getting Around:
Rosenborg is easy to reach by public transport. Nørreport Station is the closest hub, with metro, S-trains, and regional trains all in one place. From there, it’s a short walk through the old town streets. Taxis and ride-shares can drop off right outside the building. If arriving from the airport, the metro runs directly to Nørreport in about 15 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
The building sits in a lively and central part of Copenhagen, so some city noise can be expected. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, and pets are not permitted.
Our neighbor, the Round Tower, will undergo restoration of its observatory dome from January to mid-April 2026. As we are located right next to this landmark, there may be occasional crane activity, brief street closures, or daytime noise from the workshop at street level. While these disruptions are expected to be limited, it also offers a rare chance to witness the restoration of one of Copenhagen’s most iconic buildings up close.
Interaction with Guests:
Our reception is available around the clock by text or phone. We keep housekeeping and guest support immediate and reliable, and we’re here to help with anything needed before, during, or after the stay. Fresh towels, extra housekeeping, or local tips are just a message away. We stayed twice here as we took a quick 2 day trip to Berlin. Was great and will stay here again. Only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms which was a challenge, but there was a guest bathroom in basement near laundry. So all worked out great.

Overall the stay was lovely. The apartment is clean and well-appointed and in an excellent location. We experienced two issues that keep this from being a fully positive experience. One is that the VRBO listing lists the apartment as have 2 baths, when in fact it only has 1. We did not find this out until after booking, and the company's only response was that we are welcome to cancel the booking. They said they'd fix the listing but it still appears on VRBO as a 2 bathroom apartment when it is not. This was a fairly big deal for our group of 6. Also, there was a lot of noise around at various times of day. Garbage collectors were making a lot of noise very early on a couple of different mornings, and also there is an inner courtyard that various staff would wheel things through, making a loud racket on the cobblestone. Having said all of that, the stay was very nice and the location cannot be beat.

If you want to be in one of the most beautiful and accessible places in Copenhagen, then this is where you want to stay. You are right in the middle of old town and an amazing shopping district. Walk in any direction and you will have multiple restaurant choices within 2 minutes. The property is secure and very clean. Managers are responsive and friendly. If you need a lift/elevator be sure to check if your particular unit has one. Not all units are lift accessible and some are five flights up really narrow stairs (so fun with 23kg luggage). Grocery store is about a 30 second walk from your front entrance. Metro station is less than five minute walk. Very quiet street so no traffic noise at night. I will 100% be staying at this location again.

The apartment was of a nice size for our group of 4. We were disappointed that, although we were originally placed on the ground floor, we were moved to the 4th floor when the people in our original apartment decided at the last minute to extend their stay. If you rent one of these apartments, you should be aware that the trip up to the fourth floor is entirely by stairs and is exhausting with luggage. Also be aware that there is only one bathroom. It is okay, but the water from the shower is difficult to contain. We did enjoy having a living room to relax when we got back.
