Lovely, comfortable weekend in the West Wight

Quiet location with doorstep parking, and only minutes from Yarmouth & Freshwater. Well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space. Perfect for a weekend break.

Agents did appear to believe in over communication - sent lots of messages about the booking that didn't really add any value - only need one really

Great location for a peaceful getaway

Best thing about this property was the location. It was super quiet and perfect for us as we were on the island for a relaxing getaway. The peacefulness was absolutely divine. There's a big Tesco just down the road and a smaller co-op just for bits and bobs. Our favourite, Victoria Country Park is just down the road. We had an absolutely lovely time and would definitely stay again! For those that read previous reviews, I'm pleased to report they now have a cutting board! The baking tray is old but very usable. The pots and pans are sufficient. We cooked almost all of our meals there without issue, including bacon and eggs in the morning and even managed a whole chicken for dinner one night. They don't mention it on the amenities list but the Nespresso machine was quite the treat. We're considering buying one now! The fridge and freezer were lovely and a great size. The washing machine was also very handy. Since we didn't use the ground floor bedroom, we set up the airing rack in there and it was perfect for our needs.

There were a couple of minor things. There was no cozy lighting in the living area. The only choice of light were bright overhead lights. We ended up bringing one of the bedside lamps downstairs to use in the evening while relaxing with a book. My partner and I prefer separate bathrooms and while I understand needing a narrow sink on the ground floor bathroom due to the layout, it was a bit ridiculously small. Not much you can do about it though. I just hope I didn't make too much of a mess!!

Modern accommodation

It was a really nice clean modern property. Roomy enough for a family of 4. Great location. Fantastic value for money for the time of year. All mod cons included in the property including a washing machine which you don't see very often. Id definetely advise people to use this place
