Great location but not as described

Lovely converted boathouse right on the beach in a quiet spot less than 5 mins drive from central Yarmouth. Nicely converted with ground floor living kitchen and bathroom and upstairs mezzanine to house a large bedroom which sleeps a max of 4. Rustic/ Nautical theme decor, wood floors etc. Patio doors right onto pebble beach, pet friendly. Owner nice and helpful. We stayed in October the property was nice and warm. Owner does not provide any towels only bedding which was fine as he told us before hand but that does not match the booking.com description. Kitchen small but adequate. We would stay here again as the location is excellent

Shower needs attention, it dribbles with no power. Upstairs there is a large cupboard but it’s unusable as it’s full of spare beds / equipment and for the little space left there was a total of 5 hangers for all guests. Finally when you arrive the owner informed us electricity was not included in the price and we had to go and source £1 coins for a meter. He did start us off with £5 worth. Given many of us due to Covid no longer carry cash we found ourselves stressing to find a cash machine and then a shop who would change the money into coins. As we paid what I consider a premium price for the rental I thought this was a bit petty and scrooge like especially as booking .com made no mention of this. It did not however ruin our stay and we would rent this property again just this time forewarned with lots of £1 coins !!
