Fabulous riverside stay

Fantastic parking in the garage on the ground floor of the house. House was well furnished and spacious, easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location was perfect for getting to the beach or walking to town. Would definitely stay again

Great stay in a pretty town

The location was excellent. The house was very clean and well decorated. Lots of nice touches making it very homely.

The single room was very small and hot. There was no room to put any clothing or a suitcase. Also, this room was very light, making it difficult for the occupant to sleep. Not really suited for an adult.

Very very enjoyable stay for first time in Scotland and for majority of party being visually imoaire

Well spaced out very close to high street within 5 minutes walking distance and 10 minutes if that to the beach etc. as a party if blind people with guide dogs we found a grassy area at rear of property easy to access with dogs and was in all in all fabulous stay and base for day trips etc. think only thing we found was slightly concerning was steep stairs to garage area for washing machine and no stair gate at stairs but that would have helpful especially at stairs going down from from the front door which were very close to WC . We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would look to return in future.

As above just the steep stairs to basement area are very close to WC and front door floor. Maybe a gate at that point would be advisable also the Friday and Saturday night noise from very nearby bar at midnight when windows were open. We appreciate location if the bar is unfortunate. Also if there were fans in property as it was very hot for several days especially at night.

It was very comfortable and ideally located.

The living room was bright and sunny, there were plenty of comfortable seats.

The curtains in the bedroom didn’t block out the very bright street light that was directly outside.

We all had a brilliant holiday in Nairn while staying at Fishertown House.

Excellent location. A short walk to the beach and a short walk into the town. The house was very clean and fresh. The kitchen was extremely well kitted out for self catering. Bedrooms airy and comfortable. And the welcome gift of fresh milk, biscuits and Prosecco was very much appreciated.

Parking was a bit difficult for the second car as we could only fit one car into the garage. (2 small cars would fit fine) This had been explained by the owner prior to arriving though.

Very good

Perfect setting overlooking river Nairn, 5 mins walk to the most beautiful beach, excellent chance of seeing the Northern lights, dolphins 1 hour drive to top of mountain for skiing, Cairngorms ski resort £35 for a day pass Lochness 40 mins away, really perfect setting.

No private garden, overlooked by all the kids coming out of the pub, not really dog friendly but we managed ok as riverside on the doorstep, just meant getting dressed first thing to take dog out rather than just being able to open the door! Not a great hardship tbh, lovely little town, but was quite hard to get a meal out as everything closed early, just early in the season I guess. Would recommend highly, must be so lovely in the Summer, holiday park on the beach open also now for non residents.

Wonderful week with family and friends!

Spacious house ideally suited to our group of 6 adults a toddler and our dog. Nice surprise when we arrived to find complimentary milk, biscuits, Prosecco and dog treats. Superb location for river walk, beach and all amenities. Very gracious host despite having to deal with issues over the heating system!

Lovely week, Monty our Labrador loved the beach walks as did ourselves.

Location was excellent, easy access to shops and walks. Accommodation was excellent, all utensils supplied and very comfortable and clean. Car parking underneath house with internal access great for unpacking and packing.

Too many stairs in house if you have mobility problems.

Relaxing few days away by the beach.

Lovely, cosy house a few minutes walk to either the town centre or the beautiful beach. Very clean & tidy with all the facilities you would need. We recieved a text from the host the day before arrival offering help if necessary so that was reassuring. Nairn is a lovely, quiet town, with friendly locals. We will definitely return and would recommend Fishertown House.
