Elegant 3 Bedroom Suite w/Beachfront Poolside Deck
Nikte 1 is a beautiful ground floor residential condo in Akumal’s most recent luxury beachfront condominium. This newly constructed 3 bedroom unit includes all the modern amenities and comforts of home. The elegant living room has floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead to a furnished beachfront patio overlooking the oceanfront swimming pool.
The open floor layout offers ocean views from all the kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, granite countertops, an island table with bar style seating for 3 and a large dining table.
The master bedroom features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and a stunning view of Half Moon Bay. This room has an en-suite bathroom, a queen-size bed with a twin trundle to sleep 3. The floor to ceiling glass door opens to a furnished beachfront deck for sunbathing and outdoor gatherings by the pool.
The second bedroom has a beautiful and convenient Queen-size bed with a twin-size top bunk and twin trundle that comfortably sleeps 4 guests. This guest bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom and a small private garden area with seating for a breath of fresh air.
This condo’s third bedroom is a lock-off studio with kitchenette and independent entrance allowing this unit to be used as a 3, 2 or 1 bedroom vacation rental. A great value for families and friends traveling together including housekeeping twice a week.
Nikte 1 guests are provided with housekeeping twice a week allowing them to enjoy their vacation time even more. Only a short stroll on the beach to some of the best beachfront restaurants nearby or walk down Akumal road to Yal-ku Lagoon, Akumal Bay, and downtown Akumal for more dining options, stores, dive shops and fun for everyone.
Akumal is a small beach community with ecologically minded locals, and two swimming bays which are the perfect home to a diversity of tropical marine life and endangered sea turtles. Akumal is located a 20 min drive from the popular resort towns of Playa del Carmen and Tulum, and just one hour south of Cancun International airport.

We rented two 2 bedroom units (#2 and #5) and one 3 bedroom unit (#1) for our family of 6 adults and 5 children ages 7 to 14. My experience of working with Akumal Direct was terrific. They were very helpful in getting the details of our trip organized, from the shuttle to and from the airport, to a chef to provide dinner for us when we arrived as well as arranging for the golf carts. They responded quickly to any questions I had and very informative. The units were in very great condition, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was adequately supplied with utensils and dishware. The maintenance crew did a great job with the pool and getting the area around the pool refreshed each morning at 8. The maid service came in each day and were very friendly and efficient. Fortunately my wife speaks Spanish so we were able to communicate with the maid. Akumal is pretty laid back with small tourist shops and a good selection of restaurants. There are a lot of rocks as you get into the ocean which made it a challenge. But once you were past the rocks it was great. The kids had a ball playing in the waves and really enjoyed the small pool in front of the condo. Definitely would return in the future.

This was our fifth trip to Half Moon Bay. We have stayed at other condos, but if you need a third bedroom, Nikte or Nikte-Ha, next door, is the place to stay. We stayed in Unit 1, which is on the ground floor. You can walk outside your bedroom right past the pool and onto the beach, about 75 feet away. You are close to most restaurants, although if you continue down the road to the second condo complex, they have a office that rents golf carts. Alejandro is the man to see. He has newer powered golf carts and the cheapest price. Deal direct with him to save money. Renting a golf cart lets you do over the bridge to the old town. Many Mom and Pop restaurants and sidewalk cafes. They have a market to buy fresh fruit which you really can't on the ocean side of Akumal. We just love this area. Laid back, you can snorkel right off your condo, and restaurants within walking distance. We went in the off season, late October, and many times you could look up and down the beach and maybe see five people. If you like laid back, this is the place to go. If you like the nightlife and parting to 2 am, head to Cancun or Playa.

We've stayed at Nikte multiple times. It's a beautiful, well-managed and maintained property. The property management is always friendly and responsive. This time, communicating with Scott through WhatsApp was easy and very effective. Check in was a breeze. We simply used the code we were given for a lockbox with the keys.
Nikte is perfectly located in Akumal, a short walk to the La Buena Vida restaurant and Yal Ku lagoon. We use it as our home base as we take day trips to the numerous beautiful cenotes in the area. When we want to just relax, we hang out in the beautiful, clean pool, or head down to Lol-Ha restaurant on Playa Akumal.

Nicely furnished ground-level, beach front condo with unheated swimming pool. Tankless water heater gives unlimited hot water. Grounds maintained daily. Has Washer/Dryer, and serviceman attempted to fix washer without success.Electronic ignition on stove inop, so requires lighter. TV was Netflix and Amazon Prime, but no network channels. We brought our own Firestick to get those channels
