A great house amongst the vineyards

We were a group including two young children (6 and 3). The house was great - the swimming pool very well gated and a beautiful position amongst the vineyards. The house itself is very nicely done inside - I note there have been previous comments about the lack of a downstairs toilet - this wasn’t an issue at all for us but might be a slight issue in a much bigger group. The house/pool/setting look much better than in the online pictures. The owner and manager were both very responsive and easy to deal with. We also enjoyed playing on the tennis court but if you were serious players you may be disappointed in some of the cracks etc. Overall a great property which I would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week stay at Mas Coustoun. The setting is idyllic and we spent many happy hours by the pool, eating meals under the plane tree and wandering into Cassis to swim in the sea or eat lunch.

The house is gorgeous. It is obviously old but that is what we wanted and it is very charming. We were a group of 11 and spent a lot of time sitting around the outside table on the terrace or at the pool, both of which are lovely with great views of the surrounding areas. It is a short drive to town or a 25 min walk. I thought the property was prettier in person than in the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen. Only thing to consider if you are a big group is that you need to share two toilets but we managed! I would definitely come back here.

"We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. The house was very comfortable - the kitchen extremely well equipped, the grounds beautiful and the swimming pool just right. We all enjoyed the tennis court as well. It was very peaceful and the views around were lovely. For us it was definitely a drive to the port, but only a ten minute cycle ride for our croissants each day! We would love to visit again. The caretaker was always available and very helpful if we had any questions. All in all a very successful vacation and celebration of my parents'' 50th wedding anniversary. Thanks! The only very small criticism might be that an extra toilet would be good if there are 10 people staying!"

We (a group of 11, including teenagers, a grandparent and family friends) had the most wonderful stay at Pierre and Marie's beautiful family home. The setting is perfect: a slight breeze all day due to the house's elevation; candle lit dinners under the old plane tree; a lovely salt water pool and much more. The house was everything and more it promised to be and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. The interior is a very tasteful; it felt like a home away from home and is by far the nicest HomeAway venue we've ever stayed at. The bikes are very handy for getting into town, although this is also an easy stroll. We hope to return one day and recommend this house highly to anyone considering staying there.

Tour était parfait! Un seul point d’amelioration : il pourrait y avoir des matelas sur les transats de la piscine et un parasol!! Quelques transats dans le jardins seraient également bien utiles pour une sieste à l’ombre ou pour lire au calme!!!

Nous avons été accueillis par Gérard avec une grande gentillesse .Le mas est juste magnifique conforme à la description .Il est situé pas loin de Cassis et on voit même la mer dans la chambre du haut ! Tout est parfait , notre séjour a été plus que parfait et on en a pris plein les yeux ! Très difficile de repartir ! On a même eu droit à une bonne bouteille de vin offerte à notre arrivée .Merci encore et surement à refaire

Séjour en famille nombreuse, 11 adultes, 5 petits enfants dans cette belle demeure accueillante; tout le décor de la Provence délicatement agencé. La sensation d'être reçus chez des amis. Paysage idyllique, cadre inoubliable. Un Contact facile et arrangeant avec le Propriétaire. Pour la Bouillabaisse, commander chez Terre et Marées à CASSIS, très aimable et très bon.

Très bon week-end passé au mas Coustoun à l'occasion du Marseille-Cassis. Les prestations sont conformes à l'annonce. Daniel, l'intendant, est très agréable et efficace. Nous avons eu un temps splendide à la fin octobre ce qui nous a permis de profiter du tennis, de la piscine et des terrasses de la maison. Il y a toujours un petit coin sympa pour se poser. Je recommanderais volontiers cette maison à des amis.

Le séjour était très agréable. La maison est bien équipée aussi pour deux familles. L''exterieur avec le tennis et la piscine est magnifique aussi pour les enfants. On a bien aimé la terrasse en ombre aussi le soir avec une illumination très jolie du jardin. Un WC un rdc coté terrasse serait un plus. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet auch für 2 Familien. Der Garten mit dem Tennisplatz und Schwimmbad ist ideal auch für Kinder. Die schöne schattige Terrasse tagsüber und auch am Abend mit der schönen Beleuchtung des Gartens wurde von uns viel genutzt. Ein weiteres WC wäre von Vorteil.

"Cette maison se loue pour son extérieur : calme, espace, tennis, piscine, ombre, terrasses... Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans un cadre MAGNIFIQUE, au milieu des vignes sans vis à vis. Le couché de soleil inondant de lumière le cap canaille restera un grand souvenir. Le propriétaire est très gentil et nous le remercions pour ce séjour inoubliable. Un WC un rdc coté terrasse serait un plus. "
